That is a wonderful looking dish Steve: I always make Kadai Paneer, so making this will be a nice change for me. Do you have a link to the East End Kashmiri Masala Curry Paste, you use? ; I can't find it linked on your list, or anywhere online, even.

I like to add dried chilli flakes to Mayflower medium hot powder. That way you get the heat but not the acidity of fresh chillis.
@KirkhamWesham18 күн бұрын
Looks great and veggie, too! I see Mayflower as a curry base that needs adaptations. I add a little soy sauce, coconut cream, MSG and a little curry powder to mine. Another adaptation to it is mixing the extra hot and the medium curry powder together 50/50.

Same thoughts as those that experience side effects to egg, nuts, and dairy products. If you're allergic to a particular ingredient, leave it out.

Cooking method is wrong brother… the right way of cooking such basmati rice is first you have to soak the rice for 30mins in normal tap water… take water in cooking pot boil it, when it start boiling add only soaked rice not water.. let it cook completely and then put the rice in stainer to drain all water completely and your rice is ready with perfect result 🍚 .. Very sad to see OD like this. We first went there in 1985 and stayed in Hisaranou which used to have almost no tourism. I’ve have been back since and it has changed beyond recognition - not all for the good. Dice to its hyper inflation Turkey is no longer cheap and cheerful. We are returning to Turkey in July and visiting Marmaris, Istanbul, Bodrum and Bozcada. Let’s hope for the best - will be our eighteenth visit to Turkey. Still enjoy the place but need to be selective.

The amount of turmeric powder you need to consume before even getting a negligible effect from curcumin is ridiculously high. So from the amount you used, is akin to peeing in the ocean and saying you can taste urine.
@StevenHeapRecipes26 күн бұрын
I eat turmeric on a daily basis. It all adds up and has amazing healing and health properties hence why it's used for a wide range of uses even beyond food.

Hi Stephen if I wish to replace the vegetables with chicken can I use you chicken tikka masala recipe from your book by marinading overnight then only par grilling the chicken then finish cooking in pot with rice? Or is it more preferable to place the chicken in with other ingrediants raw and cook slowly in cast iron pot in the oven so as to keep chicken moist.
@StevenHeapRecipes27 күн бұрын
Hi Jed, the raw and cooked sounds best so the chicken isn't dry as there isn't much of a sauce for the biryani. Thanks for buying one of my books 👍

Until charring occurs. I never time anything, it's all about process as every step has a reason. Try an large Asian shop for the rice or head over to taste of India on eBay for 1121 hybrid basmati. Best rice in the world 🌎

An "edible mustard oil" from KTC was approved for sale for food use by Trading Standards in 2018. The erucic acid content is reduced to below 5% by blending with rapeseed oil. The problem with using others for cooking is that the "for external use only" label means that there are fare fewer obligatory ingredient listings. It might contain harmful additives you'd never know about, you just don't know.
@samskyverareddy313528 күн бұрын
First off, I loved the video. In the beginning I was skeptical when you said it has coconut flavor but I love anything coconut so I watched the video. What you did here is far off from traditional palak paneer (my only gripe about this video). As I kept going I loved that you used your experience with cooking, knowledge about nutrition, spices etc and made your own recipe. That is the point of cooking food for your family, getting all the nutrients while making hearty meals like this. Looking forward to more videos from you.
