The Easybeats captured worldwide acclaim a bit later with ''Friday on My Mind'' but 'I'll Make You Happy'' is probably where it should have started. With proper handling this could have been a major hit for the boys in international markets. As a Divinyls fan I love their spirited high energy interpretation of this song as well. Australia has produced some remarkable talent. jtk🍁Canada

Yes but Stevie wright was there also along with the other easybeats members. George needs the other members to be known of at all. If they all had not moved to Australia at the same time nobody would have heard of the easybeats.

Don't forget stevie wright was there also, and was writing their music to.. they had some great music that he wrote .. and stevie was a great performer and solo artist on his own as.well. I don't know who wrote the songs for the group acdc but it was not as good.acdc only screamed the songs and hurt your ears trying to I guess play their instruments by the way they could not do that either. Just to noisy and loud.. how they made it to the rock and roll hall of fame beats me

What a cool time to be a young musician. I still remember the excitement of hearing this ingenious simple feel good music I could play and perform too. Now adays the music is like fast food, it really sounds & tastes bad. People have hit the wall on melody and creativity. Everything is stale and rap|rap. Oh, one other thing. The performers are overweight and have zero stage presence. Back in the day, you had to be a total package. Today all you have to be is...mediocre and overweight with way too many tattoos everywhere! Give me a break, especially my poor ears. Pee eew to you pretentious artists. Give me the 1960's please! Real talent and happy too!!!
