I just want to say if you are in limbo, even wondering, "am i a narcissist?" Understand that a narcissist is not going to be looking up self help videos, BECAUSE THEY KNOW IT ALL. Everyone has some of the narcissist traits, they just do not hurt others with their decisions. Remember that.

I have a lot of planets in the 12th house and a Pisces Moon and some tough neptunian squares so grateful for astrology because it's taught me about my patterns and as I get older I take a lot less s*** from people Al-Anon has helped tremendously too. I'm proud to say that I'm getting pretty good at boundaries.

Pisces is on my 7th house cusp and I just went through a very similar experience you were describing here. It's like a rollercoaster of obsession and feeling like losing your mind. I'm still trying to break away from him...When I was with him it felt like my energy is getting drained more and more (I actually realised it only after, when I started being repeatedly sick). Though I have to say I think I'm partially grateful for this experience because I got to discover parts of myself that I never knew existed. Also, helped me discover where my boundaries are (as he managed to push me to the limits a few times).

I think both types of people, those who express narcissistic traits vs people who express too much empathy for others have essentially the same core issue “not well defined self” - that includes porous boundaries. by this I mean “what I like; what I am good at” and how this differs from others - where I finish and the other person begins. So in both cases I would focus on the Sun and what the problem might be (if the person expresses that there is a problem and if person attracts such relationship it is likely they were growing up with parents that didn’t support the development of the self). Then we can see how it can be resolved (by parenting oneself). So if empathic/narc traits Are expressed, i would check if their sun (can be difficult aspects to it or in difficult houses to see what other questions to ask). when seeing someone having narcissistic traits I would look at the sun and I can find for example a Libra sun conjunct Neptune etc in the 12th house and this person might have a positive aspect from Pluto and Square to Mars. This individual might express and feel a lot of care for the people and express eagerly their own way of setting things into action (Mars) for other people. They can identify with others as part of them (as stated above the identify is not well developed and thus also the difference between self and other is problematic). So they can even “suffer with” their children, partners, grandchildren, friends. If they consider them as part of them. which can be even seen as empathy but this is not compassion - compassion would be asking these people questions how they feel and what they need and then understand their point of view and help them out based on their needs rather than assuming, feeling from their own point of view. While doing that, they take away the development of the true self for these individuals as they literally stamp them with their own assumptions of who they are or who they should be (an extension of them) Instead of supporting their own learning, growth and the development of the own identity which may be different from theirs. Every case is specific and please never assume what a person will be like based on the chart only. should be the other way around really. observe the person first and try to gain deeper understanding where the issues may arise from (if there is one) and how those can be transformed by checking the chart. And for healing from that “empathic” or narcissistic wound (if possible even the sense of self can be too vulnerable here)- focus on your “Sun”. check the sign, aspects, house. how can you work on Sun qualities - to express, to play. Give yourself what your care takers didn’t give you, learn what are you good at, what you enjoy and how is that different from others. ☀️

PS I would like to point out that there is a difference between inverted narcissism (or altruistic/covert narcissism) and having narc traits/being codependent. Being codependent or having issues around codependence does not make a person narcissistically disordered. It is possible to reason with a codependent person, though it takes diplomacy and skill to achieve this. The main difference is that one is open to progression/transformation/change, whereas the other is not interested in self-reflection or progression. Codependent people can and do change if they heal their dysfunctions, whereas a truly narcissistic being remains unconscious (their emotional development is arrested and remains that way). Codependent people are easily triggered due to trauma lodged in their subconscious (the part of us that cannot be seen, but where everything we've ever experienced is stored). Low self-esteem and/or a sense of low self-worth along with many intense fears (such as abandonment, rejection, etc., ... ) drives codependent behaviour. There is a woundedness that has people acting in dysfunctional ways that don't serve them. This can be healed however, and there is hope!

I have neptune square ascendant, Venus, and mars and also neptune sextile sun. Some things I noticed in my narcissist’s chart is Pluto 5H, Pisces moon square Gemini mars (fantastic liar), Neptune and Saturn 7H, 4H Libra sun. In our synastry we had heavy harsh Pluto, Jupiter, and uranus aspects and in our composite we had a Pisces descendant. Makes a lot of sense I have Neptune in the 1st and my Jupiter in Cancer is in the 7th, I also have a lot of Plutonian energy, moon square Pluto and Venus in Taurus opposing Pluto in Scorpio, my ex lover and i’s relationship was like this and guess what though we had a lot of lovely synastries and got along great at times including my Venus Sextiling his Mars we had Pluto conjunct Venus. Now he had a large list of possible mates women two to six years younger than him, he chose me his Venus in Taurus opposing his Venus in Scorpio, I a troubled love bull opposing my Pluto.
