There are multiple versions onto how the primarchs got scattered and I don´t know which of them is canon, due to GW´s love of retconning stuff. There is the version were Erda didn´t want her creations to be mere tools of war for the Emperor and let the Chaosgods obduct them, but there is another more paradox version. In "The first heretic", after discovering the eye of terror and the Chaos tribes on Cadia, Argel Tal and his chapter were send back through time by a daemon and shown the secret lab with the Primarchs. After the daemon convinced them that the Emperor betrayed the Gods, who gave him the means of creating the Primarchs in the first place, Argel Tal saw there was a massiv gellar field generator protecting the lab from Chaos and he sabotaged it. The generator exploded, the gellar field was gone and the Chaosgods did what they do best. When Argel Tal was back in the present his swords, with which he destroyed the generator, were completly broken like they were after he cut through the powersupply in the past, making him realized *he* was the reason Lorgar landed on Colchis, despite the fact even his parents weren´t born back then.

She is also a perpetual and collaborated with him in the creation of the Primarchs. She could be described as the Primarchs' biological mother. However, once she learned of Jimmy Space's plans for the Primarchs, she decided to scatter the Primarchs into the Warp. It is not clear if she did it herself or got help from the Chaos Gods. Obviously, she's a shit-mom in that she exposed her sons to the forces of Hell itself. For whatever faults the Big E has as a father, at least he never purposefully exposed his sons to the Warp.

To be fair for a second, the real fucked up one is the Manperor of Mankind here. If he was barely half more smart and sensed, he could have avoided the entire civil war in the first place. A few ints of what he could do : - Deal with Angron's problem, for fuck sake, he just built him a golden path to Khorne. - Kill Lorgar (this guy couldn't be compatible with the Imperium as it was supposed to be) and Curse while he's at it, this guy is hopeless. - Solve Mortarion's problem. It was a bit less obvious than Angron, but it should have been solved. I mean, it's shit writing, since he shouldn't have turned to Chaos anyway, but he would still had become a rebel. - For fuck's sake, deal with your dumb-ass favorite son and not ignoring him like the dumbass you are. - Teach your manchildren about Chaos, ESPECIALLY your wizzard boi. In comparison, a scientist being a pascific and a sensed individual (willing to reestablish the Federation rather than the Imperium) seems based as fuck, when compared to BigE.

Considering not even he is truly perfect, has to have happened at least once lol.

Erda went and made some force of various perpetuals, astartes, and other odd entities. Putting some plan into motion across various planets in an attempt to strike some blow against Chaos and some desire to revive the Federation. Many of her friends get scattered all over and she gets jumped at her house by Erebus. Erebus wants her to join them. She calls him a hoe. Erebus brings down the wrath of one of each type of greater daemon. Erda unleashes her three spirits as well and destroyed the daemons. But now she was tired from the mental strain and physically worn out. Erebus seeing this as his chance puts a knife to her throat and asks her to kiss his moonshoes. Erda calls him a hoe again. Erebus shivs her with his ultra shiv. She then perishes. Although whether that remains true is debatable. The only known means of ending a True-Perp is via fulgurite or you could just put them in a pokeball forever.
