Thanks! That relay, I hope you’re able to post a video on that as well. I have a 22 GTX and will be ordering the second battery soon. I’m a tad... challenged... in these upper years so I appreciate videos such as this. New subscriber... 👍

Better to just upgrade to a larger single battery and forget about all the extra hoops of a dual battery set-up. For those thinking that your ski will actually charge any battery you are mistaken. The charging systems on these machines are so weak they can barely maintain the status quo. Plan on using a tender between uses.

I went dual and separated the 2, 2nd was a back up only to start the ski if the first one ended up to flat to start the ski somehow. 1 big single battery is no use to you if its flat.

@@OurAdventuresDownunda No guarantee the second battery is not toast. You still need to gauge your electrical draw/reserve beforehand and charge between uses. Think about the reason why there are so many jet ski battery failures...

Which switch or automatic charging relay did you plan on installing?

Any voltage sensitive relay will work mate just make sure it has an override wire which you run through a switch to the ground on the main battery i will upload the install when i do it keep an eye out in a week or so

Is the bracket purchased from Seadoo or is it an aftermarket product??

How do you keep both batteries charged? Does the Seadoo charge the batteries while running, or you have to supplement the charging? If so, do you take the battery off to recharge? My Seadoo is usually on the dock, so wonder how I would charge it if I install a second battery. Thanks.

They are joined full time… just put the charger onto the factory battery it will charge both

Did you ever install that relay if so where did you install it? That kit wont work for me because i run 30 amp batteries

Hey mate just run the relay in the middle of the power cable between the 2 batteries and add a trigger switch so you can link them when needed most relays have a ground prong that the can put the switch on

i'm thinking I can avoid doing this by upgrading to a lithium battery, they have twice the storage capacity in amp hours.

I never looked into lithium mate but yeah as ling as its got cranking amps to start the ski it would work

@Our Adventures Downunda often have ridiculous CCA like 500 +. Not giod for snowmobile or some bikes as they have poor cold weather performance. But obviously, for a jet ski, this wouldn't be a concern. Look into it;)

hi I'm with a group called jetski fishing caloundra and you might be interested in joining and have you heard of jetfisher paul hayes he's in our group and some of the guys were wanting to put a second battery in the fishpro this would help them out and share some ideas and soon they are planning on a weekend to double island thanks for sharing your videos
