FILM DESCRIPTION:
Worlds collide in "The Flash" when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian... albeit not the one he's looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry's only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?

I actually liked this movie. I found this idea of the alternate universe to be so cool in that humanity was doomed to extinction. No matter how bad Barry’s life was without his mother, it was infinitely better than what humanity got in this timeline.

The fight would have been more in their favor if barry had more of his abilities. There’s no reason barry couldn’t have ran up and phased his hand through zod’s head and killed him other than barry’s not a killer. Also if barry was capable of doing his infinite mass punch then that might have turned the tides too, or just trapped zod in the speed force

💯 my thoughts exactly. Bringing back Keaton who many consider the best Batman and introducing Supergirl just to kill them both off in the same scene made me give up on the film. Until this scene I was like “this film isn’t great but it’s not *that* terrible. After this scene, I got pissed and couldn’t enjoy the rest of the film, save the ending. I know it’s implied their deaths were undone at the end but the damage was done. The audience must’ve hated it too, as the film ended up being a catastrophic failure

@@RB01.10technically. Before the Warner Media and Discovery merger, Supergirl was going to return for her own movie and for a Man of Steel 2. Keaton was going to be in Batgirl and reportedly Aquaman with Batfleck (not sure how that’d work). But now none of that is happening. Supergirl will eventually get her own movie but the actress is unknown yet

I don't get how his blade kills her. Kryptonians get their powers from their cells absorbing sunlight, but steel is steel - no matter if made on Earth or Krypton. The blade shouldn't pierce her. Look at the fights in Man Of Steel, short exposure of sunlight to Kryptonians gives massive powers.

People dont get it much because the rules arent consistent. On zods ship with krypton atmosphere, they have NO powers whatsoever. On zods ship with earth atmosphere, they HAVE powers. On earth with krypton atmosphere breathers, they have SOME powers. On earth with earth atmosphere, they HAVE ALL powers. What is the difference between being on zods ship with krypton atmosphere (no powers) and being on earths surface with krypton atmosphere? (strength) One they have no powers whatsoever, and the other they get super strength. The rules seem all funky and made up to suit whatever they want to show off. One can argue "its the sun that gives you the powers!", but then when AI jor el changes the atmosphere on the ship, superman got his powers and smashed through the wall.. >.> Inconsistent. Meh!

She was at weakest state, her body didn't absorb sunlight for years. Unlike superman he absorb sunlight from start of early age. If batman did bat prep and made red sun solar grenade or have kryptonite battle would have easy from start.

It makes sense for Supergirl to die easily, Superman spent his life living as a normal human. He had years to adapt to earth's environment, its gravity, its sun, to delvoped his powers in his body and train himself into who he was meant to be. But Kara's orgin story is completely different, she got locked up in cell in the dark and had mins to adapt so she is an easy kill.

@@TPM330I don't see how not being able to fly without Stormbreaker is an issue. He has Mjolnir now too, combine that with Stormbreaker and he's more than a match for DCEU Zod. Thor in the MCU is one of the most powerful beings in that universe and is much more than a headache to Zod. You could even stretch a point that Hulk could daze him and seeing as he gets stronger the angrier he gets, he could be on par with Zod at some point.

Zod was a more experienced fighter Plus, Kara spent a great portion o her life in a Russian prison, so when she got out, her body wasn't able to stay strong without sunlight Superman on the other hand, spent his whole life at open air, so he was able to stay strong even when sunlight wasn't around

This movie is a sad case of good characters with a bad script. Its not completely bad movie like the media wants you to think. Its mostly Ezra's acting and the bad script it has. But the setup and idea was good. We want something fresh, we want Superman/girl die in a movie. I want to see Batman failing and loosing his life but kind wins through his death. I mean we go to movies to be entertained and suprised.

Defeat heroes, but make the deaths believable. Defeating super girl with a tiny dagger was ridiculous. Ejection being the only option for batman to get out of the batjet was ignorant.
