Having flown heli`s I`m pretty imprinted when it comes to step by step basic navigation, and doing one thing at a time, you have to practice SO much with heli`s, coming to quads is like YAYY this is so easy, and then you get into the fancier stuff and be all like "oh.. OH.. Oh ok.."

Braille skateboarding had a dude named Lance. The premise and mission of Braille was to teach and spread skateboarding to all. Anywho the channel was flooded with pro skaters teaching “pro” skaters. The biggest asset To Braille according to the CEO was their camera man (Lance). No experience with skating but brought a beginners perspective and allowed the pros to really analyze the foundation of their craft. Long story short it’s always good to see the beginnings or remind yourself where you came from.

This was *SUCH* a good video for *SO* many reasons! This is fantastic content! Chad is the perfect subject for these videos. He's verbose and not afraid to ask the questions that so many people have, and he's surrounded himself with so many professionals that have so many different strengths when it comes to explaining, demonstrating, and education us all on the subjects at hand. Wsup Peeps.... This is Damian, from VA Beach Va... I got into Fpv for 3 years. Ive only been flying for 2. Flying Fpv on a budget leaves gaps in the time that I am able to fly.... My point in all of this is... I dont have the background of most pilots.... Ive learned everything from watching hundreds of videos of Ladrib, Josh, vortex, local pilots, stew from us features, all of you. I'm still scared to tune... But Ladrib gets me thru that.... Soooo.... We need more videos like this. I thought that he was a decent pilot.... No wonder he never flies.... But, watching him transition into Fpv, just lit a fire under my ass.... This is the best vid that I have seen out of thousands.... Thank u for the boost... Long Live Rotor Riot...... Y'all my ninjaz.....

I remember being super excited just to make it through a gate.. hang in there folks you will get it!
@Alluvian567
@Alluvian567 5 жыл бұрын
As a newbie, gates are TOUGH. Well actually, multiple gates in a row are TOUGH. One gap is pretty easy to hit, you can come at it at any angle, you can panic and blast off to the sky just as you pass it etc... With multiple gates you have to stay really low and in control. I was doing lots of tricks in the sim, and was pretty happy with myself and still had a super hard time making it through even the easiest courses in liftoff. It took a long time to get that low altitude control. I can now do many liftoff tracks, which made me much better in the sim. I need to spend more time on my real quad now that I have it, but I am never at home with daylight. I have only done 3 packs, and my real quad thrust is WAAAAAAAY more touchy than the sim. I wonder if some of that is that I broke my bank and didn't have enough left for an action cam. Wondering if I should reduce my throttle in betaflight or add in some expo. The quad hovers at less than 1/4 stick, and everything in liftoff seems to hover around half stick.

For someone like me that is just starting fpv, this is the best video to watch. Make more, make it a weekly or biweekly thing! It would be awesome!

Chad, I love this! dont let people (and yourself) shoot ya down. I am just learning and like Drew said everyone has been a noob at one point. NOT one person picked up a transmitter and was like "OH I GOT THIS BRO" Keep it up! Love this video!

I feel like I'm right here in my learning to fly both with quads and planes. I work a lot and it'll get harder from here, but this helps 5 years I've been at RC and the only way I ever got it to was because of flite test which was you, Chad. thank you and all the guys on both the channels. you and flite test have made me a better and more constructive person.
