rubiks cube with charpu!!!

You can do a 50/50 sky/ground by mixing some yaw during the roll to turn along the optical axis and not the quad axis.

A useful tip I learned: if you do a 180 on each of the three axes (pitch, roll, yaw) you can do the three of them in any order, and in any direction, and you will always end up facing the same way as when you started. Try it and see.

Its always good to have a friend who is good at flying teach you!!! I need 2 hang out with my friend at work who flys fpv all the time and just watch him fly and learn!!!!! I still can't fly acro but its my passion!!! I love everything drone and fpv related!!!! But if your going 2 fly a drone then f.p.v. is the most fun way 2 fly one!!! Nothing elce is like putting the goggles on and just punching out!!!! I love F.P.V. GREAT FLYING!! 👍😀👍

I needed to learn this trick. Glad to see my friend Little Jamie Fox learning it with me. (Ok I'm a year late, been busy lol). Great video as always. (Vortex you're a great teacher. We only met once. I chickened out riding your e-board cuz bones and stuff hehheh. Same day, Little Stellar Fox "accidentally" stepped on my drone. Pfft. Ok. )

So you don't add opposite yaw to the rolls to compensate for camera tilt? I fly 30° uptilt and do that with snap rolls so I roll around the camera axis, not the quad axis. I tried and failed doing it with Rubik's because there is less time.

just as i got this notification my last set of lipos where charged, so phone playing it loud whilst practicing it, pulled it off just about......more work needed but cos of this i now know what to do......keep it guys and gal

I find it's much much easier to time everything. I'll use a timing tune in my head n play the beat out according to the trick and simply use the visual queue as a small modifier in the air for small adjustments.. And once the muscle memory is solid you'll be doing them blindfolded with ease..

Good job. I use to have problems with my horizon being upside down. So i made a word that was a full roll. Don't ask me why but saying 'elephant' fits a full roll. So i half flip..elephant...front flip. .....works everytime 😂

Smart move giving simple directions on orientation. If I attempted to teach this I would have over explained and gone into the theory of kwad positioning....

If you did a coordinated roll (left roll with simultaneous right yaw), a centered horizon would hold center duringbthe roll.

The only Rubik's Cube I have is one from 1988... but I can't do that one. Has anyone thought about other Rubik's tricks? There's the Rubik's Snake, Rubik's Clock, and my favourite, the Rubik's Magic where you fold 8 squares of plastic in a certain sequence to show a picture of 3 separate rings or 3 inter-linked rings.

Yeah well the internet agrees with you that a fuckin loop the loop (which has been named loop the loop since 1913) is all of a sudden supposed to be called a 'power loop'. A power loop is DEFINITELY when you do a loop without killing he throttle. Something that looks SICK in line of sight. Although i'm of the opinion that FPV freestyle is meant more for the pilot and less for the audience. LOS freestyle is 100% more enticing to watch and far far more fuckin awesome to see. To me ripping hard and slaloming through obstacles as absolutely fast as possible (sorta like how alex does when he rips that awesome little hex quad in that video with JB) is far more impressive to watch FPV than simple freestyle. ALTHOUGH, diving towers and yaw spins up and down the sides of tall sky scrapers is also very sick. Still I'm sticking with my opinion that LOS freestyle is where freestyle quad piloting is at! I mean just that one video of Pilot Oka Nakafumi ripping LOS is about 5x sicker than any freestyle I've seen FPV. It's also about 10x harder. I wanna know how many people disagree with me. I feel like what I'm saying is pretty hard to argue against. ;>

I think a rubix cube needs to be invert with roll or pitch to full yaw then roll or pitch out need all three movements just like a real rubix cube
