An author I struggle to get into. Loved his very first novel, but not the subsequent two.

Again, you continue to be the best reviewer on youtube. I grew up with newspapers who published actual reviews: critical. Most youtubers blurb through their reviews (giving the impression they are scrills for the publishers). So, thanks for the effort you put in.

Will be picking these up when completed. Ancestor had a lot of interesting stuff but some of his character work was a bit lacking. However, his world concepts have been top notch. Can empathize on books you normally wouldn't pick up. Am reading Liveship Traders and normally reading about spoiled teenagers wouldn't be my thing but they are engaging.

I recommend Justine or 120 days of Sodom by Marquis de Sade they are so dark lol . Also The Necrophilliac by Gabrielle Wittkop its a novela super dark and lyrical

I read the first one in the series and thought it was good but not up to snuff compared to his other works and kind of forgot about the series, but this review is making me thirsty for more Lawrence so I'm picking this one up right now.
