8 ай бұрынOver 50 years ago, Joe Moriarty invented the Gapless Piston Ring. Today, Competition, Innovation and Efficiency are the DNA of Total Seal Piston Rings. We utilize racing to develop and prove out ring sealing technologies that apply to engine or compressor. If it takes a piston, we can build a better ring for it.
That spirit began with our founder, Joe Moriarty, and it carries on today.

I build a lot of street hi performance and drag racing engines. Ive used your products in the past and made excellent reliable power...i insist on plateau honing with a decent KV KPK cross hatch and my machinist is very good.... I'll keep using Total Seal rings! Thanks for making them !!❤

Any reliability/longevity gain for basic diesels where conditions can be extreme like here in Australia. Ie. Toyota 1hz or isuzu 4jj1 engines.

It would seem that with gapless compression rings and oil pan evac systems, one of the three piston rings is redundant.

Nope, the 2nd ring is fine oil control and the oil ring is gross oil control.

Back in the day when these came out they "could" suck a cylinder wall right out lol. Unless it was an aftermarket block even .030 over could be asking for trouble!
