Aurora does not mean heathens in a negative sense. It’s only Christianity that demonised earth based practices which is heathen or pagan… Aurora is all about such things. Hence the album and paying homage to the Gods we can touch and not a God in the sky. She interviews about this concept quite a bit.

Aurora said that she would return to "dark aurora" in a future project and plus she said that "A Little Place called The Moon" is a perfect "connector" for her next album. She's basically a Queen, Fairy, Mother Nature, Goddess in one body.

I confess that when I heard it the first time, I didn’t liked it much, I was expecting something more folk and indie vibe, but then it’s bops after bops, I LOVE this album. I think it’s her most commercial album, but that’s ok she has bills to pay.

I like how you said, "Shes made of magic"! My google hub recommended Runaway on a thumbnail over a yr ago. I thought, wow, she looks young and I like her hair so I watched/listened. I have been listening to her every single day since. My daughters and I got to see her live in May and we got to meet her!!! She was AS AWESOME live as I expected!!! The way you said you feel floaty...that is how I feel when I listen to all of the layers of her songs (especially towards the end of Exhale Inhale, which is one of my faves from this album).

Everything Matters, Giving Into The Love, Cure For Me, Heathens, A Temporary High, and A Dangerous Thing, are all as impressive individually as anything I've heard since Tool released their Ænima album. She has this gift for creating music which is simultaneously quite unusual (non-conventional melodies, odd genre blending), but also which feels like the music you've been waiting to hear all your life. It's not like no one has ever tried weird things like she does. The difference for me, is that she does it every time, and makes it wonderful. And I'm not hearing a plateau in her ability. She just keeps getting better at it.

Just listened to all 4 of your Aurora reaction and I love how much you love her already. And the crazy thing is, that if you have only listened to her songs, you are only halfway there. Because half the experience i watching her sing. I am sure other people have already told you this a hundred times, but you need to watch some of her live performances. The music videos are great of cause, but the live sessions are out of this word.

I know I'm so late to this video but Pomme has heavy Aurora vibes but as a French singer. Ethereal, soft, and existential and sometimes (mostly) depressing. If you haven't already, I would recommend her album "les failles" or "consolation" with a translation pulled up because her vibes are also excellent, if her feature wasn't enough haha.

It's her most consistent album and the first time I heard it I couldn't process how good it is. Every single song is a masterpiece on its own. This album is stunning. The production, the vocals, everything is just next level. I think my two favs from this album are Everything Matters and This Could Be A Dream. I would love to see you react to some live performances of your fav songs, or some interviews/documentaries with her as she's such a character haha. I highly recommend checking out her friend and fellow Norwegian artist Sigrid! Her new album just came out a few weeks ago.

When you speak about the animalistic sound, I think you also mean primal because that's the word I use to describe her music so it actually makes a lot of sense when you say it's animalistic. when you say primal you thing of an animals primal instincts. I would love to see you look into SKOTT. Her production is really top notch, not to mention her voice also has an insane range.

If you are going to do live videos of her, then please for the love of god do the Nidarosdomen concert. Do the whole thing in one session uninterupted, well you can pause and stuff to talk, but show us the whole thing. Knowing how much you like Aurora and if you are ever going to trust a complete stranger like me when I say it, that concert is the best one ever by any artist. It's so beautiful it can't be described. Oh my god. If you haven't really seen her live videos yet, then brace yourself because I promise you, you have only experienced half of it so far.
