I know this is late. Yes, I hate myself for it, but you can thank a certain team and my self-destruction of it happening for such a discrepancy to occur.
In the meantime, the NHL Season has commenced, with most teams playing at least one game (barring two due to a COVID outbreak on the Dallas Stars). This video is usually divided into two parts, but due to the divisions being re-aligned due to the current situation at hand, I chose to combine it into one in order to make things a little less confusing.
I said a little. Otherwise, what should you look forward to in this NHL season? Hopefully one full of hockey goodness and its uninterrupted beauty. I can only hope I do it justice. Probably not, but it's never stopped me from trying.

Somehow I think he may be happier at the end of the regular season. The Canes probably will make the playoffs, but that's about it. Too bad they're stuck in the Central with Tampa. If they were still in the Metro (thanks Bettman), they could go a lot farther. GO CANES!

Hey UT, thanks for helping me get into hockey! Watching your videos over the last year always had me at least mildly intrested in the sport, but that 5OT Blue Jackets-Lightning last season sold me! I'm a Blackhawks & Knights fan, sadly my hometown team is seemingly in a rebuild, but at least the Knights are still a great team! It's been a lot of fun watching the first 2 days of the season and I can't wait for the playoffs. I'd love for the Hawks to win obviously, but the Knights have a much better chance. As long as the Wild, Red Wings, Predators don't make it, and god forbid the Blues and Sharks make it, I'll be fine! Go Hawks & Knights, and thanks once again for helping me get into the sport through your videos!

I have a feeling there's going to be a lot of games for us that are a tire fire one way or another with our defense. Great puck moving ability, not so great in their own end. Honestly, after an awful first period they looked like a much better team the rest of the way. I'm not predicting a playoff push or anything, but I think by the end of the season there'll be some legitimate signs of life now that the rebuild is happening for real instead of the weird hybrid type they tried to do before.

Pepsi sponsors the hurricanes but Coca-Cola sponsors our arena partner, the NC State Wolfpack. That was the last practice before they left for Detroit and the Wolfpack had a few games between then and what was supposed to be our home opener. They didn’t find a need to remove the tarps for that reason. Also confuses me why UNC legit sponsors a rival school

I'm honestly just impressed Mike Smith is still going and a decent option, I remember watching him at local OHL games when I was still in grade school and I'll be 30 this year... Overall, just excited for hockey and to watch the Habs in the bloodbath that is the North division.
