@@saku9177 the problem with Vancouver is their shooting percentages and GF above expected + GA below expected are at unrealistic levels. Law of averages states these will level out eventually and they’ll come back down to earth.

For Vancouver, I always assumed get the core a proper bottom 6 and 4 and they do good (not potential President trophy mind you) but they finally have a real 3rd line and bottom 4 in D. Miller, Petty and Hughes have always been good, especially Hughes who was second in points for D last year, it just finally took them to start winning for people to notice them.

For the Jets this year it has been a surprise, as for the attendance scare I’m glad it was a minor factor however they do need to not expensify the process for games. They do need to adapt like figure out what to do going forward to not make the same mistake twice.

As an Avalanche I feel like with how the team has been playing this season we’ll see 1 of 2 scenarios play out We’re either gonna be first round exits cause we’re injured to hell and back, Georgiev just isn’t the guy and we just don’t have the same depth as we did back in 2022, or Mackinnon and Rantanen are going to drag this team kicking and screaming to our 4th Stanley Cup in franchise history because those two are just THAT FUCKING GOOD Interested to see how this play out for sure

I am leaning towards a first round exit for the AVS even with Mackinnon putting this team on his back. I am hoping they trade for a goalie by the deadline but I think it is unlikely. They really have no one they can offer and afford to lose. Georgiev will not win a cup for this team.

The Jets' attendance dive was likely inevitable. Winnipeg's economy fell off and all but 15% of the Jets' season ticket base consists of personal accounts, which isn't sustainable. Good breakdown on the Jets and touched on my number one concern about the team which is the Canadian economy and the inability for the fans to actually afford to support the team where it counts, at the box office. There winning ways might just save them but I wouldn't count on it. My advice to them would be to lower the price of beer at the concession stand as Winnipegers will opt to stay home otherwise & deny it at the same time. Go Jets Go!!!

He tends to go easier on teams that are actively trying to rebuild. Rebuilds take time and are given the benefit of the doubt for a bit. He only really goes after these types of teams if they are catastrophically bad.

@@OpticLOLJKS16 I'm sorry and I hope it gets better. My Red Wings have been in that pit for a while, but are starting to finally see the light, though the dynasty did help ease rock bottom a bit. It looks like the Coyotes are progressing and starting to gain competence, which is all you can hope for.
