In Dec 2020 I spent a few days building farm land and planting crops at the Valley. It wasn’t fully restored, but was in a beautiful state none the less. Long Live the Valley!

7:13 A minor correction: There was a small attempt by Takeouts' and CirocDrip's group the Teutonic Order to restore the Valley in the summer of 2020 (I know because I was then a member of the Order). We made some progress with TNT bombers (Thebes sent us a design), though this was the point where I left the group to pursue extra-2b2t ventures. The restoration was not successful, though, and I never rejoined the order in a major capacity after that.

People will always build. People will always destroy. 2b2t is a microcosm of the human condition. Even if the server is shit due to bad administration, there's always that little spark of what it once was.

Kinda sad about this one. I know that grief is part of the server, and most of the time i don't care, but that one is just pathetic. Everybody knows where it is, knows that regularly someone is trying to restore it. So griefing that is for those who don't have the brain and the patience to challenge themselves, and find an undiscovered base. I have lot of respect for some griefers but if you're doing it along the highways, you're a nobody. Sadly most griefers are like that. Won't even bother wandering too far away from spawn.

I might even hop on my main "toon" and go have a look myself. If there was a way to get a guild of Fighter/Restorers going, we could keep the "Valley of Wheat" going for a few years and maybe even expand it.

@@artmex7815 My buddy was in a clan with a guy who knew notch. I played it for the first time when there was under 100 people in the game. I got it much later because I was broke. I remember celebrating sales at 10 and 20k because notch would not stop making the game.

So this is offtopia that msg me saying that i have to replant wheath i take or he'll kill me? lol omg. i don't remember the name in the chat but i remember a guy telling me this (i always gave this detail in comment when someone make a video about the Valley to prove i was there and you confirm it ^^). It was my first and last day on 2b2t back in 2012, i logoff near after taking some wheath, it was a cracked account at this period. I log in sometime but the queue is too much. What i remember also back in 2012, you were somehow welcommed by some players, and invited (coord in chat) to reach it for food. I know today that's another story, you take baritone, you shut up, you walk/hide, and rush far. Im actually at some 4M blocks from spawn in a cave, someone founded me, idk how, but he didn't touch anything, just let a sign saying hi and a smile with his name. I'd like to rebuild it somewhere else sometime, renamed the Sacred Treasure Valley of Wheath, at unknown coord but if someone can find me nowhere on the map so far, i don't think any build can be hidden for long, no matter the coord you choose to go.

Very cool. The life cycle of 2B is the very thing that keeps bringing people to this server. There's nothing more fulfilling for a 2B builder than a good griefing event.

Yes and no. Some griefers will pass by a build because it 'isn't even worth the effort' but some jackasses will blow up a noob farm and its dirt shack, leaving a sign saying, "to close to down lol" So it's kind of a toss up.

I accidentally found the valley of wheat on my last trek out of spawn. I was at like half health when i found it and instantly knew i had to get away from it bc of the withers and probably player hunter there. Was kinda cool though.

One of the theories is that the valley of wheat was modeled after the Egypt. The pyramids and sphynxes based on Giza's famous builds and the fields of wheat that span hundreds of blocks are probably based on Egyptian heaven

It's pretty fucked, but most of the obsidian frame we built is still intact. Wouldn't take too long to repair the whole thing if we wanted to. We want to finally go back to our lives outside of 2b2t tho, lol

10:43 program a what? that cant be right as html can not be used for programming html stands for hyper text markup language it can only be used making webpages all though when combined with JS (javascript) it can do stuff like gain coordinates from heat map
