I was suprised to sre people in the street praying and showing their offerings of prayer to God. It really is a beautiful place. Thank God it was saved and many of it's religeous artifacts. Praise God.

It will take decades but it will be rebuilt and most of the art pieces were saved. The roof was almost 1000 years old and took an entire forest of wood, maybe they will build the inside structure in steel this time.

This is truly a sad time for the Paris people and for the world. We are all moaning together in this sad time, but we can rebuild, but it will take time.When we start the rebuilding it will take years to do,now it can have up to date sprinkles system and fire extinguishers and fire resistant wood roof.God will help us all to recover one day at time.I will pray for all the firemen and workers on the fire scene for the6 safety.

Monte Cassino was bombed to rubble during WWII, and it was rebuilt by 1964. I'm sure that with all the money, support, and modern technology, we cant at LEAST expect Notre Dame back up and running in a similar time frame.
