Cracking chat one again, even for someone with only a passing interesting the ye olde world and not really any in G'Wulla. Some great content and discussion as always, enjoyed seeing the various projects. Another great session, I had to split this one across a couple of days due to work being busy but I did luckily get some hobby in whilst watching. AI is a bit scary really. I’m not against it but I don’t like the idea of it taking away people’s livelihood and when it encroaches into artistic spaces in particular I’m not as keen. Some of the pictures produced are great and I suppose if it was just used as a tool by artists as concepts it wouldn’t be so bad but game companies thinking they can just do away with human artists is really poor form. I’m also of the opinion that artists should be credited for their published work. It seems a bit sneaky not to almost as though that is setting the pathway for AI art to start slipping through. I will look forward to your dwarf content and it was very nice to see the comparison of the metal iron breaker against the plastic minis 😀 Definitely a shame when minis disappear from the range. Some of that is just inevitable otherwise you wouldn’t ever get new stuff. People losing out on their entire faction with the game system they chose and a so called olive branch of being able to play an entirely different game with them is very poorly communicated. Modern GW with their obvious internal political issues aren’t benefiting their fans or their bottom lines by making these decisions. Shame their shareholders likely haven’t either made this connection or been able to stop this from happening. I for one have nothing but extreme sympathy for AOS players impacted by this. I find it quite shocking that anyone would take delight in the unhappiness of someone else. You could still feel a bit salty I suppose that WHFB got blown up but we do have another option now and good times seem to be here to stay for a long while. I don’t get the continued rage which is entirely unfair on AOS players putting aside it can be a two way street with some AOS players who love pointing out their game is the main premium one and Old World is the ugly stepchild or some such lol. Can’t we all play nice?

As an Aussie living not living in a major population centre, I cant help saying I live two hours ome way from the nearest GW stockist (that I know of). Regardless of where I order kits from 3 days minimum to get to me as for pre orders they dont ship till the monday. If i order it from an independent store it could take a few days extra.

I ordered from Wayland just other week and they came back two days later cancelling part of my order. so I'll be going back to avoiding them.
