what is great about this build, Geoff, is that you have video of all that you did to make this house happened and make this build a real home, and that is something to be really proud off and memories you will have for the rest of your life, along ith all the times your son was there to help along the way of all this. The drone shots really brings the job into persective.

I was ok until the drone shots. I watched daily as Mr. Chris dug up those stumps from the clear cut. Also, the massive dirt management to build the pond. It almost choked me up. Sir, this has come a long way!! What a dream! Thanks for sharing!

Just the right size, very reasonable, James can't sink it and the front of the bow opens up to make a ramp for loading. Great for a mower. Check an old vid out. He wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't utilitarian!

Geoff, So glad you and the family are ok, which means Christ is more likely to be ok as well, and prayers for all those that lost eveyrthing in all the tornados that we had, we had a few coming along this way here, in upper northeast illinois as well, and it has rained here for the past wee now every other day. I lost some of my garden, and some of the plantins for my heart garden as well, that will at some point have to be replaced or replanted, but with what you lose, here on earth, if you have faith in God, and beleive in him, it will be restored to you in heaven. Ther is another channel that I watch, where I first found out aobut ICF and building with it all, from Jesse Muller, whom lives in Upper state New York, built his entire house of it, and helped his parents , with some things, [ whom just by themselves ] built their home as well by themselves. So great idea, to have the fund to be able to do that.

Yeah Man, Monday I think it was ?? Us here in Western Ky." Hopkins Co." to be exact, or may have been late Sunday Night, been a long week of cleaning up !! lololol... Yet another Big Tornado came threw here again, just after 2 yrs. of everybody just getting their homes built back, was hit again with a F3 Tornado, the first one was F4-5 pretty sure !! The damn thing took the exact same path just about 1/2 mi. from our house, and about 200 yrds. from my Mother's home but, think God it was just tree damage !! But, a lot of the newly built homes was destroyed again !! But, We are Ky. Strong !! We'll build again, and move on is all we can do !! lolol... But, another Great Video Geoff !! Glad all the storms wasn't to Bad over in you guys neck of the woods !! lolol... Have a Great Evening Man !!

I just came across your channel. your Icf project looks great they are alot of work but so worth it in the end, I did the same Icf walls all the the way to the roof and fast foot bag and poly wall barrier. and by doing it all myself i came up with what we call now the Mud Demon concrete pump. if you are interested in demoing it for your build hit me up.

I'm invitin all your viewers over when the pool is finished for a pool party. Can you provide refreshments? I figure we'll need enough for about 5000 guests if one in six subscribers show up. I'll bring a bottle of wine but you'll need to provide the rest beverages for those in attendance. Can you rent some paddle boats, canoes, etc for the pond? We'll need lawn chairs, tables, plates, utensils and cups for all of us. I figure this will even up us watchin' all these videos of your's. It's taken so many video's to build this pool that I figure it's the least you can do for us, all. Thanks. By the way, you'll never be able to use the pool yourself as you'll be too old and worn out. At this rate, I figure a completion date of 2043.

Shouldn't the bevel be facing the other way? As it is, you will end up with an area that will trap water at the base of the step/floor of the pool if there is even a slight amount of concrete in excess in the floor. Or would the sealing coating solve that problem?

So Geoff are you saying with your new editing software in the color change you could change skin tones to the point you look like an African American or Asian? I know there are apps that does Race swap on photos, I did not know they had it in video editors to now, I knew one AI based editor was being touted of having that ability.

The water turn over in your pond is amazing. It's got to be a minimum of twice a year. It does function more like a lake than a pond with the frequent water exchanges. After watching a few ICF builds and the non effect hurricanes and tornados have on them I'm surprised they are not more of them in Tornado alley. The channel "Lake Lot Build" details in a series of videos a couple's ICF home build from land purchase to living in it after one year. They put out a video going over all the pros and cons of ICF and given they live in tornado alley their insurance is much lower than it is for stick houses. Is that the same in NC? Also, the advantages in energy savings pays off the slight difference in extra cost over traditional wood construction. They didn't have many cons with their ICF home, but a lot advantages. They also talked about how to mitigate radeon gas. Is that a problem in your area? It is the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers. In ICF homes, you have to maintain a positive inside air pressure and use an ERV / HRV system to control air flow so radeon air can't get in. They also talked about the need to install a ventilation pipe under the foundation so radeon can be exhausted out before it enters the home. It might be something to consider if you haven't already done this.
