In this video, I am discussing why it is important to share your story even the ones that you feel are negative or embarrassing in a world where a lot of us tend to focus on sharing only the positive side of our lives. Hope you enjoy this video!
If you ever feel like supporting my creativity on KZfaq.

I have a very dark story, and when I share it, it happens that I attract the worst kind of people (for the most part) and I don't have the energy to do it anymore... :/

What a beautiful and bittersweet reflection about the way society perceives vulnerability and how that influences our ability to be vulnerable as well. While it is established that perfection is something that is impossible, i think to come as close to perfection as possible, it is very important to acknowledge our human imperfections as well. This will truly help us in understanding ourselves and the world better, while giving us the opportunity to create bonds and connections that go beyond societal standards.

I like the idea but in the English speaking world, my experience has largely been that the people with the ugliest opinions are the ones who seem to remark on my story. I don't need such opinions and I don't necessarily want commiseration either. It's difficult to balance. I don't really share ANYTHING anymore. It's too exhausting as an autistic adult who has other difficulties. My own family doesn't care and I find with time I don't get input from friends either/seem to be forgotten about. Maybe someday things will improve but at the moment I just feel a bit stuck trying to share anything. The person I most found commonality with passed away in May this year. I don't really feel like sharing these days. I've had others tell me I ought to share my story but then I wonder why when no one ever seems to notice, care, or is openly hostile in response. I've been told to stop making things up more than once (I'm Autistic I don't need to make things up)

A man did nothing with his life to shield himself from harm. The man later learned that nothing he does has value . What did he learn? Doing nothing without risk leads to nothing. Take risks, get hurt, grow.
I don't have goals but my life is amazing
