I just upgraded from my LTT backpack to a 40L travel backpack (by Tortuga, but almost anything has more usable capacity than the LTT backpack's 25L internal capacity) specifically because of how... little space you actually have to work with when packing it full. I just barely managed to make the LTT backpack work for 5 days of travel and I had absolutely zero room left over, and it was unpleasant trying to fit everything in there. ... And I had a shoulder bag on top of that. It works OK as a day pack going into the office, but for travel it just doesn't have enough raw space to enjoy the experience. You might benefit from an upgrade given the camera gear and other things you're trying to pack.

Speaking of wired headphones, I'm still salty that Sennheiser discontinued my favorite earbuds (the MX 365) and any remaining stock I can find is 2-4x the price. Also salty that phones these days don't have headphone jacks anymore, my ears don't like the in-ear design of most Bluetooth earbuds and although my headphones are nice they're a bit bulky for everyday wear.

for your editing earphones you could get some chi fi IEMs (KZ, TRN Moondrop,etc) pretty good quality for the price

Just in case, I‘m pretty sure on working holiday visa you also MUST fill out the “special re-entry permit“, that should be laying around in the airport lobby, or else you can‘t get back inside Japan. Basically Japan assumes everyone that flies out, leaves the country forever, so your visa becomes invalid without the form.

I wear milsurp stuff for on-body carry, handsfree and shouldersfree, and I'm a legendary type jack-of-all-trades toting everything but the kitchensink. WIth a NANOTE NEXT which actually fits in the regular pouches I have, my rig would be perfected. Carrying waist/belt/suspender style takes a lot of weight and pressure from the shoulders. HMU if more deets are needed.
