The bullet part seems widely reusable, considering the only part that receives major damage in the fireing process is the quarters which might not be necessary for the bullet, but just there for extra projectiles to do extra harm to target

Every time I see an old video with Danny, damm, right in the feels. That last video with him, it was so tough to see, and at the same time the most beautiful thing. Luckily, he lives on in these videos.

At 3:23-ish you can see how the “armor-piercing” bullets just bounce off the chest. Sure, the perp’s upper body would cave in and would be broken to heck and back, but dat shrapnel ain’t “piercing” anything! I think what’s happening is that the shell has way too many channels for the hot gases to escape out the front of the barrel around the four bullets (because of how they can only fit a certain way inside the shell), which means they get WAY less power when fired because a bunch of the powder exhaust is just venting out the front of the barrel. It also screws up the aerodynamics of the bullets, meaning even if the bullets hit they won’t be “piercing” anything substantial (unless the target is point-blank close range). The dimes don’t really help the bullets either, because while they would likely build up the pressure needed for the bullets to accelerate at an okay rate they are also UNSTABLE AF. It’s likely that if the dimes are not shredded by the expanding gases and the pressure wave, they will constantly wobble and flop around, unbalancing the bullets and screwing up their trajectories. Point is: this meme shell SUCKS, bro.

I am impressed that it even fired successfully! It certainly looks impressive(considering I had the bar at pretty much zero that isn't saying anything) but I am a bit disappointed by the lack of report on how it did against the vest.

I remember when I was 11, for some reason Taofledermaus was the only channel I would watch. I'm turning 18 now and this channel turning up in my recommend really brought back memories. I know that Danny is in a better place now.

It would be more interesting, and practical, to see a modern version of the old 'buck and ball' shot that existed in the early 1800's up to the early Civil War. A modern version would be a slug and buckshot. Whether you'd need to move up to a 10 gauge capable of 3 -1/2 inch magnum shells or if you could use a standard 12 gauge is one question. Whether the slug or buck should be the front of the load is another. The powder charge is obviously important. What would the accuracy and usable range be? What would be the soread and grouping. What would the muzzle velocity be? Would it be a useful round for personal defense? This meme on the other hand seems impractical and dangerous to the shooter. The bullets just seem to fly everywhere. I doubt the dimes add much to the destructive power and possibly negatively effect range, grouping and accuracy. Still weird enough to be interesting.
