Steph when I saw you grab the cam I was screaming please don't touch it with your bare hands. So glad you held it in the plastic. I'm not sure how organic that reaction to the other hole in the block was because when you were on the left side. You could see through to the other side of the shop from your view point. Well at least if could see the light coming through the other side of the block.

expect no love , Lotta stuff involved, they don’t build the motor until you pay for it so that took a few weeks to build , then because the old 392 blew up had to send the supercharger to California to Whipple to have it cleaned and checked, then had the transmission upgraded Bob BBP and when they put it on the Dino the transmission broke so now BBP just came out they have to take the transmission out because it’s under their warranty. Just a whole lot of shit man and I am fed up and they know it!

I have a 2018 scatpack and I was thinking about going your route and build....everyone told me to get a hellcat wide body and go from there...I was like easy for someone else to say after putting money into my scatpack....so I am currently saving for a down payment on a hellcat wide body and giving my scatpack to my wife so she can make the payment....wish you luck in that build brother

I had a 79 aspen , 318 with 360 hi rise intake , 340 j heads with 2.02 valves . Not a rocket ship like yours but fun non the less

The cam doesn't support higher revs, it creates them. The springs are there to prevent valve float.

Hi...Nice to see that you wrench on your cars. I know it's been a while but do you remember seeing how the oil drains back out of the lifter cubicles? (I would call it a lifter valley but I have never worked on a Dodge/Chrysler so not sure what they call it.) Is there drain back holes in the ends of the cubicles similar to the drain back holes in the heads? Thanks

If you plan on reving the engine higher. It’s a good idea to upgrade the valve springs. Good luck on your build.

Welcome to the Club . I been there . You should 📞 call Comp Cams and they can give you the specs on the size springs and retainers . If I were you I would consider using Roller Rockers if you want just a little more speed and a smoother running engine. I wished you would have talked to me I could of saved you some of that headache You are a good guy and I am proud of you 👏 One thing I am not sure of weather your engine block has piston oil squirters the demon engine has piston oil squirters check and see , because what you don't know will ruin your day I just looking out for you that is all

I thought taking off the supercharger caused this. I don't think that any more looks like you dropped a push rod. That bent the valves and shot through the case of the block. As a car guy this hurts no matter why it happened but at least you can afford to fix it. I love my 6.2 natural manual 6 speed but twin turbo underneath would be the ultimate surprise . Maybe one day...
