One thing James Rolfe does, that makes his AVGN persona/character work, is he introduces elements of the ridiculous to the Nerd's cinematic world. This helps the audience realize more overtly that we're watching a farce and that James Rolfe is being facetious, and it also lets James Rolfe introduce silly ideas that don't belong in a realistic setting. Others who just imitate the angry part don't quite grasp you have to, somehow, let the audience in on the joke you're doing a bit. You don't have to introduce silly fictional things like James Rolfe does but you do have to actually deliver a performance that helps the audience come along with you and buy into what you're doing.

Thanks for this video I really like stuff like this! POAG strikes me as outsider art, which gets my interest from time to time. I really miss those days before KZfaq decided that their voices were no longer needed. @@YCStudios_greece No, definitely not. It is just a fact. Every wireless controller before the Wavebird used IR as its connection (which needs direct line of sight to the console) but the wavebird was the first to use radio waves instead (which don't need direct line of sight and is much more accurate). Every wireless controller after them used radio frequency, whether Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft.

@@dacypher22 to be fair, Bluetooth had existed since 1999, and was starting to see more adoption across multiple different industries and use cases. It was only a matter of time before wireless game controllers would adopt this type of wireless communication technology. The only reasons I'd say it hadn't caught on before was the lack of a standard protocols, which forced manufacturers to have to work around government regulations for radio wave communications themselves (which Nintendo had to do with the Wavebird). Bluetooth solved this problem by standardizing things.

Destroy all the pieces of crap we have emulators now. They do everything better. Peoples physical video game collections are for setting fire to. Games are free and never to be paid for. Make fun of idiots spending money on games. Hurts me to see assholes giving Blizzard, Nintendo, Riot, Square Enix, Activision, and CDPR money. At one point each of those companies was worth giving money to. Most recently Square is the biggest asshat with their pending future releases. Not so much what square has done, but what they are ABOUT to do because of all the idiots forking over money and encouraging their NFT/MTX habits on their mobile and MMOs. FF14 would be nothing but MTX if they had made it after their success of their mobile games. All future Square games will be MTX/NFT focused. Sucks they used to be my fav company. Absolute trash heap now. Can't get hurt if you don't place value on 0s and 1s. Just a bunch of plastic that can be emulated.
