Reminds me of something that happened to me when I was 20 years old... went to a club, got on the dance floor and was just vibing by myself to the music. After a few minutes I realised I was dancing with a guy and he was dancing with me. Our eyes locked and he took my hand and we went to a booth in the back of the club and made out for ages. Mind you, this was a regular straight club in a not very big town. Nobody paid any attention to us until we went outside much later and while waiting for a taxi we started making out again outside the club. More than a few girls squealed with delight and said to their fella ... ''Awww look, two guys together!'' That guy I met on the dance floor became my first long term relationship. It is one of my best memories.

I discovered this song a few days ago and it’s become the most incredible ear worm. I know that it’s not the intended meaning of the lyrics but “let go” is becoming my dealing with social isolation theme song. I had it on repeat for an hour (because why the hell not) and it felt like meditation.

I was first blessed with the irrepressibles in '08 with my boyfriend at the time. One of us found the video for in this shirt and fell in love. Mirror mirror came out months later and it just filled out souls. (I believe my friend Joe was the only other song I could find on iTunes at the time... excellent also!)...loved nude, almost but not quite as much. Then just realized this newest album had been released. This song brought me to tears while I was driving and listening for the first time. I felt my soul shake the way it did when I listened to in this shirt so long ago. This band conveys something strong to my soul and every song is a blessing to hear. Thanks for continuing to produce amazing stuff. I'm 41 years old in rural West Virginia. But my heart is in this music.

lovely track. and such a ”simple”, stunning and clever video. from ”robots scared/afraid to feel” (except for the white lead, who`s looked at suspiciously by everybody else when he gives in to dance, in his own world), to the final elation after that ”come on”. LOVE IT. this is not a ”video,” it is a wonderful short film. Great work!

Good to see Jamie Irrepressible’s collaboration with Röyksopp has pushed his musical boundaries and creativity further. “Nude” their previous full album was a haunting masterpiece. Love the new direction of the sound and his band and this is a great video with interesting models and Of course the same unapologetic equality message that the band has always had. Been a fan since the first album and very happy to see them get some recognition by the masses.

I have posted this before but it warrants repetition, At my age, I have seen many truly soul boggling performances( very early pistols, spandau in their early incarnation,Clash at their earthiest, Duran at the Rum Runner WITHOUT Le Bon) but i do have to admit to being totally entranced and ensconced in the magnificent aura of this ensemble.Jamies' voice is beyond compare, far rounder,more powerful and expressive than his contemporary, the much vaunted Antony Hegarty. I do hope their talents become more appreciated, but, it does feel like a very personal secret to be held tightly lest it becomes less exclusive!

Yep. Listened to this over and over again. This should be a bi men’s anthem. Important imagery and lyrics. A woman dared me in a similar way, to the lyrics in the song, twenty years ago and I kept thinking about it. I knew I was bi then, and I’ve been out now for some time. Thanks for the trip down memory lane, The Irrepressibles!
