This is jaw dropping. Thank you SO MUCH for creating this!!! It's exactly what I need right now! Mad props for pulling it off!

Thanks man! Let me know if you have any trouble getting started with it. Constantly trying to refine the design, so keep an eye out for updates.

Impressive Work!!! Exactly what I've searched for. Now the only thing that's missing are real flares ;)

Thanks! Had some initial reflection stuff working with luxcore render and surface coating settings on the mesh but it took wwwwway too many samples to be practical. Sucks that everything is affected by floating point errors too

This is fascinating and well done man. I'm surprised it's not getting more coverage in the blender community! I hope you can eventually sort out a physically accurate lens flare solution and then you'd have a complete suit of camera tools.

Thanks for the kind words! Its exciting that it works, just hard to get one of the big blender youtube guys to give a proper review of its use, i think it brings a nice unique look to renders distpite adding render time. Since the geometry is there, the flares are theoretically possible! Had some starting to show up in a different render engine when the glass has a thin film coating, but it took an ungodly amount of reflection bounces to start to appear, as in real life :)

@@JackToth hey if it helps, you were a featured product in the blendermarket email! That's how I came across your channel. Goodluck man. I'm going to start dropping comments on blender youtube channels now and hopefully that'll get some traction.

Amazing work! Is there a way with the same matrix size to go beyond 60mm (25, 32)? 60 is very narrow(

Oh i looked on the market and see its pussible)

Theres a seperate lens set for ‘Wide’ shots so between the two you should be covered for alot of usable focal lengths!

Could you make an octane for blender version?🙃
@JackToth Жыл бұрын
I had started experimenting with that! Should transfer easily its just a matter of setting the materials up. Its geometry based so im sure it would transfer well.

@@JackToth Yeah that would be awesome! Would buy it immediatelllyyyy. Not sure if you've ever looked into Serpens, but it's a visual scripting plugin for Blender. You could really quickly turn this into a plugin instead of having to append it into projects.
