When I was younger, I specifically remember an incident of laughing so hard that I panicked because I couldn't breathe for a few seconds. It's an odd feeling. I don't remember what was so funny, but it might have been that a buddy said she was dating a guy that looked like Al Pacino, and I mistakenly pictured Danny DeVito.

@@Grubnar oh nice. I just thought that beyond how funny the story was , it was totaly a Japanese version of that story. To break it down , the big bad wolf blows the winds of time , and if our tech doesn't keep up to challenge its relentlessness , we're swallowed/ up blown away etc. The invention of the Katana and more so "steel" was a turning point for their progress. But nerd stuff aside, if his dad actualy told him this , then he truly was a wise papa . "The big evil dragon was defeated for now my boy. Rest easy , perhaps you'll be the fourth little pig"

@@hxhdfjifzirstc894 Her house on chicken legs moved about so she could see anyone approaching. Tales of Baba Yaga and wolves and bears were meant to keep children from straying away from home. My sisters feared her. I was fascinated by her. Look up the tales of Baba Yaga.

What is the cultural origin of Baba Yaga. The hell am I asking for, I have a friggn database in my mitts. I loved hearing stories like this when I was a boy. That's why I'm always telling stories to my nieces and nephews and friends kids. I'll flip around content from my favorite stories growing up and act out roles and do sound effects and voices. It helps that I use to DM when I was a teen.

I don't remember my father telling me stories. He used to read my Golden Books to me. According to him, he amused himself by changing the text as he read, which made me go ballistic.
