Love the fact the 15 year old horses stop working and enjoy the rest of their life in a great paddock. I saw also giant and clean boxes. Riders seem kind with horses too, better than many show jumping riders!

The musical rides of the Royal Horse Artillery have never failed to impress me, and to see their return to the London International Horse Show for the first time in 2008 is just magical. For me, it just wasn't the LIHS without it. I was so blessed to see them live as a 14 year old many many years ago, and I will forever admire the skill and dedication of the horses, riders, and support staff of the RHA.

I have seen the rehearsal for this show many years ago, Where I lived there was a large field behind our houses and my friend and I stumbled on a rehearsal of the musical ride. Can't remember where they were doing their display. We did ask if we could watch and we were allowed to stay. It was magical, the horses, the precision and the atmosphere made for a very exciting and interesting afternoon for my friend and I. This video bought back these great memories and I have seen the troops and their beautiful horses when they have taken over from the guards and horses at Horse Guards. while they head off for their well earned break. The love and care both these artillery horses and those at horse guards get is wonderful. They are all majestic creatures and they and their riders are always so smart and regal as well. I must admit I have fallen in love with the horses at Horse Guards and now know most of their names and personalities, and am hoping that the Royal Horse artillery will be taking over for them again this year. I don't think this video mentioned the hard work behind the scenes with getting the horses ready and cleaning the tack and boots. 💖

This was amazing! Anyone who hasn't ridden in a drill team may not realize how much training and work went into this performance! Our drill team only drilled at a slow canter. I can't imagine doing this at a dead gallop...or better said, such a deadly gallop! My hat's definitely off to each and every rider and horse here.

Ive never heard for this, so interesting & fascinating. In my defense, Im American. But I am an Equestrian fan. This is fabulous, Im so excited its back doing shows, hopefully on tv or streaming. Im hashtagging this to let me know your on live or online. Love this💕
