Sad times for The Labour Party, keep faith comrades, and continue to fight the good fight.

I found this informative video quite by accident but it was a pleasant surprise. I lived next door between ages 6 and 12 (1958 - 64) and spent many hours playing in the field and on the old swings and rocking horse, both of which are now gone, but it’s so nice to see the Clarion’s rejuvenation because in my day I hardly ever saw a soul. Thank you very much for this video and doing what you do.

There's nothing quite like a hot mug of tea in front of the blazing fire at the Clarion on a freezing winter's day!

This gives me so much hope! I hope this place can stay in existence.

Had the pleasure of visiting the Clarion on a few occasions with good friends. The endless supply of tea is wonderful. But motre special the coming together of of people, for over a hundred years now, to enjoy simple things that never really change.

Very impressed with the film (and the book) it is (as my ex weaver grandmother would have said) a 'credit' to everyone involved.

I have a picture from about 1959 of me at the sticky bun eating competition in the Clarion cycling club games, which took place in that field. Still getting back there regularly with my dad, who at 94 has been going there for about 78 years.

I'm watching this at my home in France and weeping as I watch. I wish I had known about the Clarion when I lived there. I was born, bred and buttered in Colne and as a true socialist,this gives me renewed hope. My wife is from Bedfordshire. Colne is her adoptive heart home.
