One of the best movies i've seen. We should all give thanks and show our utmost respect and gratitude to all the veterans who have served. I can't imagine the courage it takes to go what they had to go through or do what they chose to do unselfishly.

R.I.P. William Pitzenberger. I'm so glad that you finally received the respect, honor and recognition you so rightly deserved for your courage and self-sacrificing spirit which was long overdue. This was more than a movie to me. I felt every minute of it. It was so well done and the actors did a fine job. It is a great tribute to him. I appreciated the fact that some of the soldiers who were there and witnessed Williams bravery were in the audience at the end during the medal of honor scene. I also appreciated their interviews as the screen credits rolled at the end of the movie. I have never cried so much as I did in this movie. Williams self-sacrificing spirit in giving up his life for these wounded soldiers and his courage, character, bravery, fearlessness and love for others will always be a part of me because I won't ever forget him and what he did.

This movie was so powerful and absolutely riveting. To see a movie based on a true story of an enlisted United States Airforce hero whose comrades who survived the Vietnam War because of him, was one of the most moving themes that I have had the pleasure to watch in many years. As a daughter of 2 World War 2, Canadian veterans, I truly related to the story. I was mesmerized by the incredible cast which consisted of Sebastian Stan, Samuel Jackson and Hollywood Legends, some of whom have since passed away. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making this historical work of art.

When you hear the call sign "Pedro" is inbound, you know the best are coming to save you. I'm glad they will finally honor "Pitsey" with a film, he's a legend in the Air Force. When I served in AFSOC(Air Force Special Operations Command, worked on AC-130's) this story was always talked about. I just hope they do the story justice. Frankly if you read about Tim Wilkinson (PJ) in Somalia, I believe he deserved the MOH, yet he was awarded the AF Cross. He was barely mentioned once or twice as "Wilky" in Blackhawk Down. I'll let you Google the call sign Pedro and read that history.

Later on it was only South Vietnam against whole communist block with its supplies drastically cut by the US! Salute all true soldiers that fought along us and made the ultimate sacrifices !!!
