I don't care about these young Seahawks fans saying Russ is the best QB in Seahawks history but this guy gave me much joy when he played for us he won some games that I don't think Russ could win !!! Dave Krieg is still a top 10 QB in history stats wise !!

Russ was a lot better. And Im and old dude who saw Zorn before Krieg. Krieg was great in the early and mid 80s but by the 90s he was a fumble waiting to happen.

I agree completely, Kreig was fun to watch, and was a terrific QB, so was Zorn for that matter. Both those two get overlooked now, but they were good QB's.

Love russ, I think Krieg was better by a hair over Zorn who had much less to work with

It’s all my brother fault that I became a Seahawks fan in 1976. We come from the East Coast but moved to Austin TX back in 1969. My brother became a Cowboy fan and won’t let me be a Cowboy fan so I picked the Houston Oilers. On Aug. 1, 1976 when Seattle Seahawks played their first preseason game against the 49ers in the Kingdom, it was televised in Austin. As soon as the Seahawks ran on the field, I pointed to the tv and said to my dad “cool uniforms, that’s my team.” I dropped the Oilers and have been a diehard Seahawks fan ever since. 🏈💙💚

Crazy. I knew about the 7 sacks but had NEVER seen that ending play. Looks alot like Eli Manning in the Superbowl in terms of being all but on his back and somehow escaping the sack.

I was at that game. I was serving in the Army at Leavenworth. Four Seahawks fans had a blast. I will never forget

Dave Krieg, the guy from the tiny all-woman's college that allowed men in for about 5 minutes, with a football program that was 1 minute old. What a Seahawks legend!
