A new original tag from Book Buds! The Library Tag!! Did you know Book Buds films right next to a library? We had to make this tag! Let’s talk about your library habits! We have questions for BOTH those of you that go to the library AND those of you that don’t! Answer the questions that apply to you.
If you DO go to the library… (answer these)
1. How often do you go to the library?
2. Do you belong to more than one library system?
3. What percent of books you read come from the library?
4. Do you listen to audiobooks or get e-books from the library or are you hooked on Audible or Amazon or something else?
5. Did you go to storytime at the library as a kid?
6. Have you ever borrowed a movie or video game from your library?
7. Have you ever gotten fined for returning books late? If so, how do you feel about that?
8. Do you attend special events, groups or book sales at the library?
9. Have you ever given or taken a book from a little free library, a book box or a book swap?
10. Bonus! Does your librarian know you by name?

One of the more fun videos I've done in awhile. I just wanted to say I said Grozz's channel wrong in the video. His channel is The GKBC. I believe I forgot the "THE" 😔 Oh also let me know what that tree is near the end of this video. LOL

Thank you for that... I really enjoyed making this one and fell in love with this cemetery so many cool things in this one. Maybe I'll save the tag you tagged me in for that cemetery I mentioned in the video... I will just have to wait for a nice day to get out there. Thanks for watching and dropping me a comment!!!

I love walking around in cemeteries too! So peaceful and I love thinking about the history behind the people laid to rest there. Glad you found the Book Buds! They’re so funny. They do Bloopers at the end of their videos, which crack me up - so good. I think they are fellow New Yorkers as well (Long Island maybe). :)

That is a very interesting and true point that many libraries would probably have to close if there was no interlibrary loan system

I find it interesting that over time this has become a thing. It wasn't a thing when I was younger... we are spoiled for sure. :)

You don't have a library? You aren't the first to say this... It's shocking... I guess I just assumed that everyone had one... I guess I'm a privileged brat. LOL

@@FacelessBookReviews We have some close by but we’d have to pay $100 a year to use them and they don’t have a great selection.

Cool cemetery! I get the concept of fines and don't have an issue with it personally. But I'm definitely someone who stopped using the library because I accrued too many fines. 😆😆And when I started back up again, my county had dropped the fine system, so I was happy about that.

One of your best videos yet! Wow what a cool cemetery! And you have a motorcycle?? Awesome!! My dad used to have three of them. I'm sure i had fines as a kid but i don't remember having my account online and they never said anything and i never offered😂A few years back, i had to pay like 30 cents. Lol and yeah i don't like crowds but i'll brave them to shop!😊except on black friday. I stay home and watch football

Oh I couldn't agree more with you on black Friday... who in their right minds wants any part of that... NOT ME. Yeah I have a 2007 Victory Vegas... the same year I bought it the company went out of business. LOL Not sure what that means. LOL Do you happen to know what bikes he had? Just curious... Thanks for the complement as well it was a fun one to make. Todays was SUPER short... I didn't feel like doing it... I think it will show. LOL

I am 100% with you on preferring to keep away from group activities. The most common cause of discord between my significant other and myself is I don't want to go to social gatherings/events. Like you, I don't dislike people (most people, that is), but I find no satisfaction from being cooped up with them to make small talk. What's up with all the bars/barriers around graves in that cemetery? Are they trying to keep people out? or in? 🤷♂🤔

Well it sounds like you and I would get along just fine... as long as we left each other alone from a distance. LOL I remember a joke when I was a kid.... Why do cemeteries have fences? Becuase people are dying to get in.... Nyuk nyuk nyuk Yeah it's a great DAD joke. LOL This place had some barriers for sure.

Hey thanks!!! One of my more enjoyable videos to shoot... Yeah I found it interesting about what she said as well. She probably wishes hers would close down everytime I walk in. LOL Yeah I'm almost to that magical number. I was stuck at 85 for awhile... funny how it grows in spurts. I wonder if I'll have the same problem you had getting to 100... KZfaq messing with us little guys.

Yes, that's a nice cemetery. I live one block from the largest cemetery in our state. There are lots of family cemeteries around here. I also live one block from the largest library in our area. I never visit the library since I got the Internet. I also owe for some lost VHS tapes. So they're right, I don't visit anymore because they want $30 for tapes they're not going to replace.

That tree from my best guess just from the video, would be what we call white cedar or northern white cedar (as opposed to eastern red cedar, though they are not in my range for habitat. However, since it is a graveyard Western Red Cedar is a common ornamental plant that looks close to White Cedar but from the vid I'd still say white cedar). It's also known as Arborvitae in some places which is cool. I think you said Saratoga and white cedar is found there so that would be my guess, though obviously seeing it in person would be better haha.

My man... I knew you would know what it is... Once I started talking about it in the video I kind of started to remember having this conversation with the wife and I remember saying I thought it was a cedar... hence the part about the wife saying I never listen... LOL I'm pretty sure she looked it up... but hey I was driving when we had this conversation... Had to focus on the road... right? Now I had not idea there was a white or red cedar but at least I did have it nailed down to a cedar... Glad I called you out on this to get a more in-depth answer... thank you sir!

@FacelessBookReviews no problem. And technically I don't think North America has real cedar it's just common names we gave them lol. What we call cedars are closely related to juniper and cypresses in the cypress family and true cedar like Cedar of Lebanon are more related to the pines.

I'm in a library dead zone. There is no library access for me. Technically, I'm county, so I missed city limits by 50 feet. It's a sad story. When I went in to get a card, the librarian knew instantly that I was county from my address. She said "yup, I think you just missed but let's double check." Yet my property taxes help fund the library.......

What a joke! Hey thanks for your tax revenue but sorry you can't enjoy one of the benefits of us stealing your money... Gotta love it. Also... thanks librarian for not turning a blind eye on something like this... I mean I get it... it's 50 whole feet away. LOL SMH.
