This video is an honest review of the LifeSaver Jerrycan and it's accessory shower hose and nozzle. I also impart tidbits of valuable information about the LifeSaver which I discovered after my extensive use over several years while camping and overlanding. (I purchased my LifeSaver Jerrycan in 2021)
The LifeSaver Jerrycan is a 4.8L water purification/storage container that can purify dirty water to safely drink. The flow rate is 4 liters per minute. The Lifesaver Jerrycan can also be used as a shower unit using the shower hose accessory (at an additional cost). There is a replaceable hand pump unit that creates pressure inside the Jerrycan that produces water flow through the spout. It has a high-end ultrafiltration filter (UF) and charcoal disk filter under the tap head. It's built tough and tolerates well being bumped, dropped, banged, and anything else you can throw at it.
The LifeSaver Jerrycan is, in my opinion, one of the best water storage containers for the money. It can be used as a backup water storage at home , while camping, or on a long overlanding trip.

ive had mine for 3 years...just taken it out of the box for the first time because i needed a jerrycan for my campervan

Hi, great video! Is there anything separating the water on the pumping side and the part of the can with the Ultrafine filter and tap?

The can itself is a single unit: no separate compartments. The pump mechanism does its thing: pressurizes as you know. The filter underneath the spout funnels the water up and out. Be sure to always keep some water (a few inches) in the can so as not to dry up the inner filter elements. That's what I read from off the manufacturer's website. Be sure to clean before use also: there is an inner coating layer that should be rinsed out once prior to use. I've use mine for over 2 years now and still going strong. I just bought another one.

Great video. As new LSJC users we are experiencing thet tap dribbles water even the can is stood up and depresserized... any suggestions? Thanks!

I would get a thicker gasket at hardware or online: it's not the diameter but the "thickness" or height of the gasket. The other thing I would examine are there any thread issues noted on close examination of the larger threads the spout cap is tightened onto?
