Thomas, this was such a blast. Seriously… massive, massive thank you for having me on your channel and bringing me into your ecosystem. There are so many people on the fence when it comes to making these life changes… and it's because they just don't understand that there is a simple and elegant solution. Primals like you… who can explain and educate, like how the quality of life is not measured in the number of years lived, are how we can bring our people back to strength, health, and happiness. Again, so grateful that we were able to collaborate and make this happen. Keep dominating… and let's continue to do some goddam good in this world -LK out!

I grew up on a hundred acre farm in rural SC. Through the swamp my uncle had a few hundred acres where my cousins lived. During the summer we ran around outside in the sunshine all day. Our properties were full of wild plums, berries pecans and weeds like sorrel. In the evening we ate meat, from the farm, and fish that momma caught and fresh veggies that she grew, especially greens and fresh beans and peas. We snacked on parched peanuts and sweet potatoes at night while we watched TV. I have been so healthy and happy. I was fortunate to be able to have 40 acres and a very similar situation for our kids.

FABULOUS interview! I would love for him to talk about what his wife does...what kind of workouts, and what does she eat on a daily basis. You both are such great role models, as many are getting back to basics. At 68, growing up on my grandparents farm in MD, this is just what we did. Ate well, worked and played hard. Built forts in the woods, ran barefoot, climbed trees, picnics in the pasture, ice skating on the pond in the winter...and sled riding on those hills. I wouldn't have wanted to grow up in any other time period.😊

@@cawdpoints Integrity goes along way when you’ve achieved this much notoriety. I agree, he is helping lead the skewed perception on aesthetics, thus contrarily contributing to developing issue of dysmorphia. As for the grass fed organs, there is not definitive way to know the actual bioavailability. Society has grown exponentially, swifter methods to deliver meat was imminent, therefore the acquisition of meat has accommodated steadfastly. Consumption of food shouldn’t be as convoluted as these two people convey. Energy intake is equivalent to energy expenditure. Simple.

All are high to extremely high in Vitamin A to the point of causing a toxic load to my system. My B12 was 731 pmol/L, so that is was also flagged as abnormally high as well. Do your lab work and be moderate on the liver, it can easily be overdone if you listen to bad advise.

As a Tip, there are many ways to consume liver. I keep it frozen, cut about a 1 oz chunk off, then finely dice it, then consume it raw but placing on my tongue and chasing with water like pills, (never once got sick doing that), OR, mix the diced liver into ground meat while making burgers or any other ground meat. You don't notice it at all. You can also marinated it in water and lemon juice, water and ACV, or milk for an hour or two to reduce any strong flavors.

I'm not a fan of liver but I do eat it only in 1 way and it tastes great. Try and bake it in the oven with double cream, tomato tin and dryed onion. It tastes fenomenal... First, you cover it in the dry onion, then you put the rest of the ingredients and bake around 45 minutes 😉

For anyone who really wants to enjoy liver: Buy calf liver. Soak it in milk for 30 mins. Completely coat your liver in a seasoned/salted flour of your choice. Pan fry (in bacon grease preferably) for 4-5 minutes on each side. Add white onion in the pan to taste. Enjoy your liver & onions (and bacon).

I grew up hunting because we were poor. Once a month my cousins and uncles would start what was called The run and it would consist of running to the mountains and then in the mountains until finding tracks of whatever it was they were going to hunt boar or deer or whatever. Then the real running began and you would press that herd until one of them failed. On their backs they would carry the animal which would be an average of 300 lb all the way back home. So in a matter of a day about 30 to 50 miles had been run. One home we dressed it and we'd eat the heart and liver and tongue and all the meat off the face the guts nothing went to waste. No one who hunts with just a knife and a hunting ax or just as you get older maybe a bow and arrow or if you're just very out of shape maybe a gun looks like either one of these two guys, well maybe the so called hunters who spray urine and sit in trees. I think a lot of the things they are talking about warrants incorporating into our lives but what they're not talking about is that the steroids helps define their muscles. You don't get the muscles needed for hunting and the mobility and the stamina with huge muscles like what they are carrying. Look at any of the hunting tribes of Africa or Latin America, they do not look bulky because when you're running 30 to 50 miles to hunt you can't afford to have bulky muscles. You have densely packed quick twitch muscle fibers like what soccer players, boxers and wrestlers have. These are the kind of muscles that allow you to carry two, three and maybe four times your weight. So my father who may have weighed 160 could carry a 300 to 400 lb deer for three to five miles before having to switch off to my uncle who weighed 180 and he would easily run 10 mi with the deer on his back. None of these hunters in our family look like either one of these two guys. Look up the hunters of Africa and Latin America who hunt wide open areas like North America, look a their appearance. That's what you look like when you really hunt and when you're not using steroids for looks.

The issue that haters forgets that Liver King isn't telling you to only eat liver (and they only focus on that) , its just one of the nine things he suggest that we do! I will never eat raw meat but after doing somethings that he suggested (Like working out, start having a plan for yourself, limit myself on social media (cell phones), talk to my parents/loved ones more, bonding) And after doing that for 2 months, my mood is better, I am feeling better, I feel stronger.

While I certainly don't condone the use of steroids for cosmetic purposes, I stop short of judging others based on the direction they have chosen for THEIR lives. Does use of steroids, in any way, change the quality of information put forth to help others try to become a better version of themselves? I never heard any mention of "you should use HGH, steroids, or exonenous hormones to get a better looking you, and it will help you live longer and healthier". I did not hear anything like that during the whole interview. Nope, not once, because that was not the point of the interview. Because that would be harmful. I heard nothing harmful at all. Did you? You simply cannot deny that he has put in the work to get to where he is at in life. The amount of effort he puts forth in exercise alone is astounding. He has a pretty solid message to get across to people looking for advice to be a better version of themselves. The guy is a frickin savage, and I feel he makes some really valid points to why humans are so sick in modern society. Does his steroid use change the content of his words or the validity of his argument? In my opinion. No.

When our ancestors found wild fruit sources they would have been climbing the trees or scavenging the bushes. The entire process of foraging and gathering, transporting the find back to their loved ones would have their bodies burning through those sugars while extracting the vitamins and polyphenols for a better result and a leaner body mass.

From what I've seen the people that accused him of using steroids have an agenda to trivialize every aspect of what he does. For what it's worth there is a massive amount of resistance within the mainstream line of thought against doing anything along the lines of what he is recommending. Why? There is a huge difference but Thomas and the “keto community” will never cover this topic because it’s not a good look for them. Any time a food is cooked you lose nutrients, enzymes and damage the molecular structure and integrity of that food. The more you cook, the more you lose. Raw liver is 100% intact with no alterations to its protein, fat, and carbohydrate make up. Cooked liver is the opposite, resulting is loss of the majority of living enzymes along with carcinogenic byproducts of cooking.
