actually had a pretty similar expereince on a trip to the smoky mountains. on the day I was leaving (left around 7 am) it was super foggy with rain and i remmebr jamming out to wave music then. this picture does the feeling justice and very well.

It’s strange to me how this music, and even the image here are just such a mood/feeling that I adore. I find cold, dark, rainy days like this just so relaxing, but it also gives me this sense of like, things are going to be ok, and there’s so many wonders of the world out there still to come. I live not far from hills where I’d just go driving on my own late at night in the winter listening to tunes just like this, and it’s honestly my happy place. It’s like you’re all on your own but connected with the world at the same time in such a spiritual way. I’m babbling here, but this music is just amazing.

Rarely do I hear my own sentiments about expressed so similarly from someone else. The dark, raininess gives me a feeling that the world has been existing like this for a long time, and it will exist long after I am gone. Its comforting to know that this silence will ultimately live on far into the future, and I'm lucky enough to experience it now.

The background photos you pick are always so good, this one especially, it invokes such weird feelings, like nostalgia, slight sadness I guess but also comfort, like I want to be driving here Update: Downloaded this playlist before a real long way home, and I was driving in this EXACT looking area, with fog at 7 AM, sometimes the fog would be so thick it would be complete darkness and then normal a minute later, I even managed to snap a picture exactly like the one here, this was such a vibe.

Maladaptive daydreaming is uncontrollably experiencing intense and vivid daydreams that are extremely distracting. I have it myself and it’s best described as if you had a TV series in your head that turns on at random times and you just sit there and watch it. Mine is like a trilogy at this point with its own evolving lore and characters. In my case, I do become extremely disconnected from reality; I go into auto pilot and often move around a lot, running in circles or just walking aimlessly, and the entire time I am not mentally present. Though if I run into something I’ll get bumped out of it of course lmao Okay sorry to ramble about that I drank too much caffeine 💀

You know where ever my depression gets really bad, I want to listen to music to calm me down, but all the like sad edit songs just don't do it for me but this video has really helped me through alot. The first time I heard this playlist was a cold rainy day at work. I was working alone outside and it was during a low point in my life. the titles of the songs are so incredibly satisfying to look at, short names with a lot of x's and v's, almost no vowels, literal words or names, and especially everything is uncapitalized. makes is so aesthetic, mixed with the still clip of the headlights from the car in the dark blue ish fog, the fact that its chill/sad/dark wave (witch house) and also the fact that its an hour long. summed up that this video is a masterpiece

why do you make such good music its like your trying to create a mood for it -like your sitting outside alone then someone slowly comes up to you and sits next to you and they give you a gentle smile and you just sit there awkwardly trying to think about something to talk about but you find a convo to talk about and you just sit there in the rain talking to them but then it starts raining harder and they take a umbrella and the share the umbrella with you but then you wake up and you realize you were just dreaming and no one was actually there... - this song is really happy it makes me calm but kind of sad just makes me think about nothing will stay forever like your relationships nor the time you spent with your family... or i imagine something good happing but then it gets slowly taken away from you....

This photo looks like where I lived some years ago. On one side, it was cleared for housing development. On the other, these old and barren trees stood, acting as a poor barrier to a very old cemetery just beyond the line. I'd have to drive through there every day for work, and return every night at midnight and go past it again. The problem with big trees and old cemeteries, especially when rain or fog rolls in, is it feels and looks like wandering spirits are watching you as you drive by. It was a desolate road at night, so the experience is yours and yours alone.

this mix takes me back to 2010 when i used to listen to skrillex and some other old song artists on a radio my friend gave me when i was 12 it took me away like a plane into a safe world with no abuse no suicidal thoughts, it took all of the pain away and told me i was going to be ok and i was going to live that i was not going to hang myself and that i was going to be fine and it would go away just like that and here i am now 14 living with my mom and im happy now i made the choice of living. thank you for the mix

17:18 this is a very emotional song for me, it sounds very dark, yet somehow makes me feel uplifted in a way. Perhaps it's expressing a lot of The melancholy I have going on right now, granting me a moments relief, helping me to remember to keep going. Even if I'm not even close.

there is something special about listening to this playlist of songs, at night, while im in my feels, and staring at my plane window wallpaper. Just thinking about how much i miss traveling and how calming and relaxing it is to sit in the same seat for hours, staring out of the same window, watching the ground below you slowly turn into sea, and slowly back into land, with the land also moving slowly. i miss this feeling

One of my friends is in Lubbock for college at Texas Tech I go up and visit him every so often…… One time though I left late to come home mainly because I didn’t want to leave and we were having so much fun just chilling and talking I live in Keller so it’s about a 4 hour drive and I left at 9 pm….. Nothing but me the dark and endless unknown of the winding road and the occasional streetlight and small town And this one time I put on some music a bit like this and I thought to myself that the only thing that could’ve made that drive better…… Was a girl asleep in the passenger seat next to me……… Lo and behold it’s been a while and I’ve found this playlist and now I listen to it everytime I drive back….. And I still imagine that girl in the passenger seat……. What an amazing thing to feel………

Really enjoy the chapters you get to find the songs much easier and get the ones you love get to replay them over and over 💕 not sure how found these different mixes such has this one and bootleg boy and neotic others etc but there always so interesting and tell different stories with no words you still find your self seeing the story unfold as you listen
