That prophecy is only meant for the current king to pass it on to his heir, so only Rhaenyra ever knew. Alicent just focused on a few key words like Aegon, prince, promised, unite the realm (not against white walkers but the lords of Westeros who will rebel against any female ruler). Earlier this episode she was ready to give up on Aegon because he’s such a disappointment, especially after the *ape, and I think she meant it when she told Rhaenyra she’d make a good queen. But misinterpreting Visery’s last words will now make her think she has the king’s mandate to make Aegon king.

@@laza0202 Alicent has been extremely divided into whether support Aegon and Otto or fullfill Visery's wishes, in the dinner after Rhaenyra's toast and Visery's words, she found a reason to choose her, but after hearing Visery's "last wishes", and thanks to the previous comment here, I remembered that he had told her something similar in episode 2, makes sense, it's not just the whole dream thing, that's more like the last drop to fill the cup in Alicent's mind to support her son.
