Xenoblade is one of those franchises I hear about constantly but know nothing about. Great video as always.

I'd like to say that Mythra made the best of a bad situation. Without Adam being able to her, she got overwhelmed, and lost control. I don't blame her from wanting to dissociate from herself. I would too if I was in her position.

Mythra made me grow to respect characters who fear and detest their powers

It was a great video and I never though that the story of the prequel DLC could be that tragic.

I really love Addams story so much, and Hugo as well for much the same reasons despite being Royalty the two don't have the ego of their older siblings which makes them much more liked as a result but not just that, the two have a deep profound desire to protect others which i believe is why Pneuma bonded with Addam in the first place, it seems there is no real commonality between Drivers as some are assholes and others aren't yet even though Amalthus hated the world Logos still bonded with him yet Pneuma went through 4 people rejecting all of them before Addam tried, now the two seem rather mature for their ages until you realize they are in their 20's like Lora(im so used to anime characters looking 20 yet they're 14) but their more childish sides show up in their blades and we can see this most blatantly with Bridgid, With Morag she's often calm and motherly so show the feminine part Morag has to keep suppressed as special inquisitor, while Torna Bridgid gets into petty fights with Mythra all the time even in after battle dialog to show how Hugo had to speed run his childhood to be a proper leader as all Leaders of Mor Ardain have to be able to lead their soldiers on the front line until his death made them rethink that Addam with Mythra is often shown as Father and Daughter which makes sense as in torna we learn his wife has been pregnant since before he joined with Lora(something Haze and Lora immediately berate him for not being by her side in a time like this which was cute and makes me wish more RPG like stories in anime had more Parent characters like Barret and Addam) but we know from Malos that even if the Aegis blades have their own personalities their core is shaped by who awoke them, Mythra's tsunness can be seen as Addams good side reflecting on her character making her oddly sympathetic in moments like when Lora's mom died even though the day before she berating a mercenaries job as not important to her and Jin's faces, she's a child at moments but has a good heart, something Addam doesn't take credit for even though it is because of him which is another reason why I love him, his humility is so admirable Addam is the kinda of guy to raise a village so far away from the capital, have a modest little home and people still try to help him out when ever they can, if it wasn't for keeping distance with the people he's the kinda guy to tell people to drop the -sama from his name and just call him Addam, he's so down to earth I bet he'd go to a food festival and eat chicken skewers Even after awakening Mythra Addam makes it known to the team he's afraid of hurting others and constantly doubting himself, the brave face of a hero he puts on is just a front to man behind it, Hugo even agrees that he never saw himself sitting in a chair giving orders as he's always loved his country and wanted to grow up and defend it(Hugo is such a good boy, it's clear even Niall feels the same as he was willing to take an attack for other countries representative, the two were born real heroes) Addam fears what power does to people and could never see himself commanding others to their deaths but with Mythra and everyone he feels he make a real difference for the people of Alrest, he's what a Hero should always be at the end of the day, not in it for the glory, not for the accolades but for the sake of doing the right thing no matter what, yet i'm sure if he heard the legends made of him 500 years later he'd say he was never that amazing. no wonder Mythra finds him insufferable yet knowing he's gone forever is enough to make her cry on the spot, he was her support pillar like any father is

I have no idea why it took me so long to come across this, but it's so concise and well written! It's great to have all this lore in a few videos that are clear and easy to understand. I can't wait to watch the others!

i think luxin stated at one point that the processer cores were not core crystals themselves but could be awakened as _like_ a core crystal due to how tied into the blade management system they were, it's honestly a good theory based on how they pre-date the other core crystals

I remembered when I heard about the Torna DLC, I thought oh this will just be a 10 hour prequel to the main game just harder. Never before did I realized that not only would we get a full near 60 hour Champaign, but also the fact that the combat was MUCH better then what we had in the base game. It actually felt good to play and not like a weird mess of a system like 2 was. As for the story itself, it was a pretty compact story with a beginning, middle and end as we did get what we wanted, we saw how life was back then and the music was amazing. And the stuff from back then in the base game matches up nicley with what happened in Torna. Sure I did have some issues like how the game locks you from story progressing at times, Milton was annoying, Mythra was called a simpleton a lot and the whole Gort thing more so by the end felt like padding since we ALREADY had a big epic fight but for the most part, Torna did it's job really well. Nice job with the first part and can't wait for part 2 aka the Anime! Also, REALLY felt bad for Mythra in Torna.

I came to this video to see how the 2nd Xenoblade game connects to the first. The origin of Alreast is very interesting! That means the people of Bionis were basically stranded from the rest of the world, since their titan was dead.
