I tripple double second this motion. It was the ideal combat weapon system imo. Even better than the scar. It had everything, ambidextrous, ergonomics, modularity, evrything.

I put a MOE handguard and ergo front pic rail on my M4A1 got yelled at for it initially but it was nice having a comfortable M4.

Nooo, don't get rid of the MOE nuts and bolts. They work great for attaching Picatinny rails to traditional stocks (both poly and wood).

I would bet that the adapter would fall into the "Magpul Original Equipment" instead of the attachment MOE.

Good, yes, that sounds like what he's saying, it'll have the MLOK slots. So now the MOE will still be the name of the handguard, but the system to attach will from now on be MLOK, and you can distinguish based on if it has the MLOK symbol on it he shows at 1:51

I was so confused by this when I got my rifle a few years back. Got the MVG grip and couldn't figure out how to ATTACH it to my MLOK rail...turns out it wasn't compatible and endes up wasting my money. Had to buy another MVG grip to make it work. -_- Their naming decisions were very dumb and continue to be confusing. I feel like they should drop anything with the name MOE or else clearly state the differences.

Absolutely love the moe products. My 18” ruger 556 is adorned with everything MOE. Including the new bipod which makes it a dream.

First time I've heard the explanation that they are actually two different systems. Just curious, are the two systems compatible? Say an MLOK attachment in a MOE slot? Or vice-versa?

MLOK. It’s technically the standard for new military equipment now. It’s why the civilian market exploded with MLOK instead of keymod LE is typically up to the department from what I’ve seen. Sometimes the officer

I preferred Keymod but the masses have spoken and as with Beta vs VHS, Mlok has triumphed over Keymod. I guess I'm relegated to Buying Mlok here on out. That is with the exception of AK accessories. I'll stick with Basis for all my Comblocs stuff. U.S. and western companies should do some product development and embrace the Basis rail on their Eastern European weapons accessories. As far as I know only one U.S. company utilizes Basis in their product line. The name eludes me now but that's why God gave us search engines. Basis on AK and Keymod on AR/western systems is the way to go but the Magpul fanboys ruined it for everyone. We're stuck with Mlok now. Mlok is a great system but I just preferred Keymod by a small margin. The biggest problem is having to buy everything over again in Mlok and then do what with the Keymod stuff?

This is B.S. I have the MOE handguards on my rifle and they are like new. I just bought a Magpul M-Lok aluminum rail system thinking it’s Magpul so I’m good. Wrong!!! You lost this future customer, you intentionally changed this crap around to make perfectly good equipment useless to upgrade. I guess you learned that from the Chinese.

If they just said they were discontinuing MOE then they would get thousands of people whining thinking that they are getting rid of the MOE grips and stocks. There is unfortunately quite a bit of ignorance (Note I said ignorance, not stupidity) in the firearms world.
