You can see the genuine delight on Nicky's face. Like a kid meeting his heroes. I love the Manics and Rush. Rush were never cool but Nicky never cared about that. He judged them on their music.

This is great footage. Shame it's apparently an outtake from the documentary, this is priceless footage, it should remain in I say! I can hear Idlewild playing in the background too in Nicky's room.

@ManicStreetStevO i totally agree, peart's drumming is a bit soulless (extended drum solos are so tedious!) but alex's guitaring certainly isn't :)
