I think this could also be due to the fact that Neo is the Integral Anomaly. The model of the Matrix has a 99% acceptance rate which means that for most people who choose the Matrix, the Architect would be able to fully predict their response, on the other hand someone who does not choose the Matrix perhaps one or two of the screens would display a different response to the rest. But Neo acts as the proxy for the entire 1% of those who do not choose the Matrix, so the Architect is rarely able to predict his response.

Because a lot of people liked the first movie as a “popcorn movie.” Reloaded still had a lot of action, but it goes *much* deeper with the story.

Reloaded was great, but it is letdown by the final film, whereas the original feels like a complete film with an ending. And it also is just not as interesting.

That's not what's happening here. The architect is computing all possible responses Neo could have to his dialogue, for him to synthesize the one that's closest to his actual response, in-order for him to compute a response that'd leave Neo no choice while giving him an illusion, that is choice!

The different Neos on the screens aren't the previous Ones. It's just the several possible reactions of him to the reveal the Architect is is calculating/foreseeing.
