Your podcast has put words to other aspects of knitting then just producing garments; knitting is creativity, meditation, frustration, a work of art and of self care. Thank you!

Amy, I always look forward to your color combinations! Anyone I meet who knits, I share your channel with them. You are so lovely, just like your sweet mum, and I so enjoy your intelligence and laughter❤ Love the Boucle! Happy anniversary! I saw your first podcast and was entranced! I am a loom knitter and have made and donated almost 400 hats since the pandemic. I've also made cowls and a baby bunting. I'm still very much a newbie even though I'm an oldie. Love your aunties bags! They also are lovely!

The Meaningful Stitch is one of my always-favorite podcasts, partly because of the attention brought to the art and creativity of knitting - the process itself, and partly because of the attention to nurturing joy and spirit in life. Your sense of humour, Amy, along with your impressive skill in knitting, means my heart smiles every time I see that a new episode is available! My knitting, and reading, are my primary activities for processing all the ups and downs of life. I feel held in caring here.

I discovered your podcast about a year after you started and went back and binged on the first year's offerings. I have continued watching each podcast usually on the day of release. I paused today to consider what your podcasts bring to my life. Your personal presentation is lovely with your soft lilting speaking voice and expressive face.I find I feel calm and relaxed. Your grammar and vocabulary are excellent- a rarity on you tube. Your precision and power with the spoken word allows me to grasp and consider your ideas in a very pleasing way. You laugh at yourself and situations you find yourself in a way that makes me smile and I believe I have learned to enjoy my blunders and situations in which find myself. You are a talented knitter, and your sense of colour and adventure in your work is empowering. Your approach to problems in your work has reminded me never to forget the child I once was- all was possible with patience , determination and study. Bravo!

I wish my mother could knit - but she enjoys all the knitted sweaters and socks she gets from me, and that also means a lot. Congratulations, Amy, on your first pattern release, your podiversary and 12,000 subscribers! I love the cerebral nature of your podcast. Your vocabulary and manner is almost like attending a class with an engaging professor. One of the things I enjoy the most is all of the yarns you share with us! So many of them are not available where I live so it's just so interesting to see what else is out there in the world. Thank you so much for your continued effort in producing this wonderful content. Take care, Jennie 💕

Congratulations on 3 years of The Meaningful Stitch and on the release of the Gallus! That boucle yarn is gorgeous - one of the first sweaters I ever knit (back in the mid 1960’s) was from a boucle yarn, I liked knitting with it. I love your knitting esthetic and color choices and the bits of Scots culture you include, but the most meaningful part of the Meaningful Stitch for me is how you have helped me make the important connection between my making and my sense of spirituality. Thank you!

Congratulations on achieving over 12,000 subscribers! I enjoy seeing all the lovely things you've knitted, but have especially enjoyed seeing the wonderful relationship you have with your lovely mother. i really miss my mother who I lost quite early so so enjoy seeing those who value their relationship with their mother. You're both so talented. Thank you for all the effort you put into your videos.

I enjoy everything about your podcasts Amy. You are one of the first knitting podcasts I recommend to other Knitters. I enjoy the cards you read and your practicality and common sense with regards to your knitting and priorities in life. Enjoy your knitting travels this season🥰🇨🇦,Sharon.

To me your podcast means warmth, comfort and possibility. I watched your first ten episodes when I was ill and couldn't sleep and it was exactly like what I needed at that time 🥰

What do I love about the Meaningful Stitch? I love how thoughtful and calm you are. I also feel like you are always passionate about your knitting, it's not just knitting to knit, but something special. (The one skein Agley is so beautiful, especially with the brooch!)

I discovered The Meaningful Stitch about a year ago after your talk at the Perth Festival of Yarn: the shawl wall drew me in with your fabulous approach to colour and creativity. And now I watch to enjoy your joyful creative practice, the reflections that you share and the recommendations and inspirations from patterns, books, designers and dyers. I love to see and hear where you've been! Congratulations on 3 years of the podcast!

The meaningful stitch .. this podcast for me mean inspirations of colours! And while the colours are always fabulous and often bright, I always feel calm and relaxed while watching this podcast!.thank you from the bottom of my heart for creating such a peaceful online environment where I can relax and knit and still see bright colours I love and new and unexpected colour combos that I never knew I loved until I saw you make something with it. Like once you knit a shawl and it matched a bag you had inherited I believe from you or-r grandmother. And the two match beautifully! ❤

Your passion for knitting echoes my own. My all time favorite episode was your shawl wall. I love knitting shawls but have had a hard time incorporating them into my wardrobe. Seeing a collection of beautiful worn shawls was inspiring. I also love the shared interviews with your mum. Congrats on your success.

Wow Amy, I can hardly believe it's been 3 years already, my time flies when we are having fun. Happy Podiversary! I have watched you from the very beginning and have loved every single episode. What does the Meaningful Stitch podcast mean to me, well exactly that, I feel like every stitch we craft is meaningful. Our hands hold string and needles which then creates these beautiful objects and memories. Your knitting shared on this podcast is always above and beyond amazing. Listening to you is always a pleasure, so calming and relaxing. Love it! 🤗

In May, I was in NY about 20 mins from Rhinebeck, near where I grew up. I was staying with my 6 year old nephew while his parents were on a trip to Scotland (they loved it and had great weather). I was watching one of your podcasts when my nephew returned from a birthday party on quite a sugar high. He asked to watch with me and he found your content as soothing, enjoyable and interesting as I do. So much so that I played the podcast through some speakers while he took his bath. He was in a lovely zen place and ready for bed by the end. So a big thank you for helping with that evening of babysitting.

In my experience of the meaningful stitch, it is the most soothing podcast, I love the tarot card readings, and the calm tone of your voice plus the bonus of poetry once in a while. Thanks so much !
