your missing so many other reasons to deduct "offline" miles. if i drive to the store to pick up car wash soap for the car, if i drive to the car wash, if i drive to a mechanic, if i drive to a busier location. Basically if i drive anywhere and it could be considered work related i can deduct those miles. Some people actually claim a loss at the end of the year because their miles related to work exceeds the income generated from driving for Uber and Lyft.

Great channel, Great quality, and extremely underappreciated. I truely appreciate those tips you put a few videos back on Lyft streak bonuses, keep up the hustle. Also quick note for thumbnails, If the thumbnail promised me that Uber and Lyft are lying on my taxes and I could save 8000 dollars I would have 100% clicked and sat through longer to see what you ment. People with 500k or a million subs can get away with shitty face thumbnails cuz YT is already pushing their content and they are paying to increase engagement. Smaller channels need to stand out, face thumbnails are a sure way to not get views. Best of luck man, earned my sub! 🙏🙏🙏✌

I just use MileIQ it’s always tracking and asks to confirm each trip if personal or business if you use your vehicle for both.

I've tried that too. If it's too automatic, I get overwhelmed trying to categorize them at a later date.

Another $4000 week for me 4 in a row I don’t waste my energy on negative stuff. I just go out here and make money. I don’t sit here and post and cry about what Uber and Lyft is not doing for me I just get money….put in 15,16, n 17 hours a day do what you Gotta do to provide for your family and an invest what you get not cry like crybabies…

There is nothing wrong with putting in the time. However, I have cared for my family better by knowing the numbers. It shows me where I'm overspending and where I can make more money. You shouldn't see understanding your numbers as negative.

How much much can you actually write off? I think i tried to write off like 6k but turbo tax the limit was only like 1500

In terms of miles? Anything that's considered business miles. I've never seen a limit.

@@FutureRideshareMillionaire most people who do this full time write off 90% of their miles to avoid the tedious task of keeping track of every mile everyday of every year, it's not worth it, your odometer is better than any app you've made trying to get people to use

If you look up mileage, you lost already if you look at what Uber and Lyft is not doing for you you lost already if you look at where tearing your vehicle you lost already just go out here and take care of business. Everything will come together.

I don't think this is a smart way to run a business. Knowing your numbers gives you the necessary information to win and make better decisions. Can you explain how ignoring your numbers is a better benefit than not knowing your business numbers? Can you also share with me how you enter your mileage for taxes?
