A big part of being a DM is improve and making up a lot of shit on the spot, what is truly impressive about Brennan is him remembering it perfectly, once I have spouted something like that off I would have immediately forgotten it.

Brennan is just such a masterful worldbuilder. He literally just pulled all of that out of the air on the fly as he was saying it, and it sounded better and more prepared than me reading my actually prepped notes. I just cant get over how good he is.

If you haven’t listened to the second Dadlands The Adventure Zone live show which Brennan DM’ed, you absolutely have to. It was under a two hour show and the lore was SO deep. Also there was corn hole.

I want to see Brennan show up for a one-shot, he rolled up some stats, just abilities, races, classes, spells etc. no name, no backstory, and NOTHING else. He randomly hands out the character sheets, and then improvises an entire one-shot. No adventure design, nothing, they are guaranteed to run for 3 hours, if they TPK they mix up the character sheets and start again.
