I get you hate JB and I think that he is in some ways overrated, you yourself said he's barely a top 50 player and that's just not true. The guy is a multiple time all star who gives more than average offense and defense despite your opinion that he is average at both, he's a solid top 30-35 player in the league and was genuinely the 2nd best player in the 2022 finals behind steph, but nobody gives him any credit for that. Gotta disagree with the Jaylen Brown take, He definitely isn't worth 60mil a year but he has been pretty consistently disrespected by fans for how good he is. Brown has been averaging 26 on 50/38/67 shooting (FT is kinda ugly but still) since the all-star break. He has been playing great defense against pretty tough assignments, weirdly great at post ups this season too by always hunting mismatches in the post.

As a Pels fan, I understand why you say Jonas, but I think he’s rated good right now. He has saved this season quite a few times in past games. Yes, he is slow on his feet and the team will probably upgrade the Center position in the draft or the offseason, but I think Jonas fits this team pretty well, he is a decent enough shooter to help out Zion while also an underrated passer when Willie actually lets him pass to get different looks for the team. Having him and Larry Nance Jr is a headache and it could bite us in the butt in the playoffs, but overall it’s hard to see him as overrated honestly. I think he is just rated nicely, an average above Center that can pass decently and shoot at times. He is also our best rebounder and that side of his game has proven to be ridiculously important in certain games this year. He would be overrated, if people compared him to Jokic, Giannis or Embiid, but no one is doing that. After watching the video I don’t think you watch the Pelicans at all. The team isn’t better with Larry Nance Jr and yeah he defends decently, but Jonas overall is just better.

Going a bit into the Jonas Valanciunas point, I think the Pelicans are already playing him less minutes and playing through him less when he is on the floor too. I have to say though, his offense is pretty damn consistant if they do. He still is an extremely strong post player and usually a mismatch for most defenses. His midrange and his freethrow shooting is good, especially for a big, but he routinely gets ignored at the 3 point line as that part of his game has fallen off a bit this year. I must say, his defense in halfcourt situations has been better and he still is one of the best rebounders in the game, despite being on a team with some of the better rebounding wings and guards, his per 36 min numbers are still insane. One of the new things this year, is that he is more involved in the offense as a passer. Like anyone on the Pelicans, he can make the right reads, but I wouldn't want to call it great all the time. His most important skillset is the consistancy near the rim, his incredibly strong frame and the absolute freethrow magnet that he tends to be. This works great in the regular season, but already we see him taking less freebies with the more playoff-style whistle that we are seeing in the last few weeks.

I'll say this about Terrance Mann 1. He rarely does finish games for the Clippers. Normally it's Powell, Amir Coffey or Russ that's when everyones playing. He is just a solid point of attacker defender to start games, and allows LAC to wait till the 4th for Kawhi to start defending guys. 2. His shooting numbers may not jump out on paper, but that's mainly because he was awful to start the year. Last 3 months he's been way more efficent.

Domontas Sabonis for the Kings. Kevin Looney looked like prime Dennis Rodman against him last year on the glass. He’s good in transition and when the game is fast paced but slow the game down and make him take jumpers like the Warriors did last year he’s neutralized. Now I haven’t watched a lot of Kings games outside of when they played the Warriors but I still see the same flaws so tell me if I’m wrong.
