The Pipeline Trail is one of the most underrated trails in Richmond, Virginia. This Pipeline Trail or Trestle Trail is a narrow passage located on top of a giant water pipe near Belle Isle and Browns Island. There are hourly and parking meters (pay to park) nearby the pipeline and canal area for visitors.
*ALWAYS USE CAUTION AT THESE TRAILS! Pipeline Rapids water levels can be high, some parts of the trail has no railings and very narrow stairs (please always use caution)! Please use caution at the river at all times!*In my opinion, this trail is more for adults because of the high water levels etc. Check the James River Park System for hours of operation!
