Both trailers end with someone passing out lol. I can't get over how annoying Herman's voice is in this. I mean, if they are supposed to be teenagers or something in this I can get behind Herman doing that for a brief period but come on! Herman has a voice that is supposed to be normal, he talks normal but his laugh is unique like everyone else's. This voice here is rather annoying and to me just doesn't fit Herman's at all. At least the laugh is good though.

He is younger in this film. That would explain the voice crack. Vocal chords might not be fully tightened yet (he's a Frankenstein monster).

@@ericsantana1184 I'm more of a Rob Zombie Music Fan, than a film fan. I did enjoy The House of 1000 Corpes, and his take on the Halloween films, but this film seems like a wierd direction for him? Maybe the Director money was too good to pass up, and they mandated a PG final product

Which reboot failed? The new halloween series was great. Especially since the last taste of Michael I recall him betting physically beat up, and thrown out a window by Bustin Rhymes. To this date I consider his only big failure Lords of Salem.

@@JohnFreedman0 The Devil’s Rejects is his only masterpiece but “I don’t approve of chicken f*****g” and directors who try to create the same fire with broken matchsticks. Rob’s Halloween was a remake with more grit but basically a copy, like how House of 1000 Corpses was ALMOST a Texas Chainsaw Massacre rip off.

@@user-df8jf3zc2e I will agree that The Devil's Rejects is by far his best. Kind of, they are fairly different. More so than say the hills have eyes vs the wrong turn. I do get that the same guy who played Chop Top in Texas Chainsaw is also Otis Driftwood, and both characters are just completely crazy. I did like halloween kills what can I say. The horror community doesn't have much to look forward to these days. The new Texas Chainsaw Massacre that showed up on Netflix is atrocious. They just removed Bubba's family so...............

@@JohnFreedman0 Halloween Kills wasn’t great but better than Rob’s Halloween. The scene when Michael rises from a hell fire in a burning house with a fire hook pro bar and goes ape 💩? it’s worth the watch, plus we got Jamie in it. Although, I agree Netflix’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre was a gentrified mess but Bubba breaking an arm to use a shard bone as a shank? bravo kill. The scene where Leatherface goes ape 💩 on a bus of TikTok and Instagram influencers? C’mon brother, it had some entertainment, plus we get a crappy but decent Sally back in the mix. Back to Rob, my point is he shines best with his own original content. Although I can’t say much for 31 or 3 From Hell, 1 felt like a Devil’s Rejects spin off and the other felt like a wannabe Manson documentary.

I’m a huge fan of the tv series. I reserve judgement until I see the film, but if I HAD to bet now -- I’d say you are correct. I wish I could say it looks promising. Herman seems WAY off the mark.

I think that's meant to be the joke. It's a straight-to-whatever adaptation of an obscure property that last aired 3/4 a century ago, it's not supposed to look good. If it did, the joke would not be funny.

I don’t know. To me the success of the 60’s show was based on Herman. I’m still not convinced that this Herman captures the innocence of Fred Gwinn. I love the Munsters & want this to b gr8, but I’m skeptical.

Okay, I don't know how to feel about this... The second trailer is ABSOLUTELY better, but the first trailer has already made it clear the film will be unwatchable, and nothing about this one changes that.

Straight to DVD like the old days eh? That first trailer DESTROYED any chance for this film and I can't say much for this one. It didn't help much. Look, I want to like Zombie, I do. But Lily and Herman are absolutely terrible in this. There is NOTHING remotely close to the original characters at all.

Like I've told everyone who will listen (lol) my only hope for this is Grandpa. I kind of dig the mustache and it sounds like he actually tried to get the voice right. Herman sounds like a mix of Shaggy and Pee-wee Herman and Zombie's old lady sounds like discount Elvira.

I just want to write that Rob Zombie confirmed that his new film The Munsters will be available for streaming on Netflix in september. it's not being released in theatres and it's only being released straight to bluray, dvd, and vod instead.

I hate how rob zombie had 40 million dollars and couldn't even use munsters koach on Herman's date like wtf zombie. Your not gonna use the 2 iconic cars that made musters memorable to gearheads for yrs. aka the George barris custom built Munster koach and the classic dragster coffin driven by grandpa in the series.

I agree. The Munsters needs to have a great production design and good effects. But with the heart and soul like the original TV series. And at least from this preview. Loved it! The visuals, script, and cast were amazing. Love the campy 60s vibe. I hope he makes The Munsters 2💚🖤 In my opinion, this was way better than the 90s remake.

It is so weird seeing The Munsters in color. I hope there is a black and white option. I got to admit this trailer was 10x better than the first. Whoever in Corperate Department decided to release that first trailer should be fired.

There was a tagline for a commercial a few years ago (and, of course, I can't remember what product or company the commercial was for) that went something like, "you never get a second chance to make a first impression". I'm so tired of the hate against Rob Zombie's movies. I'm actually convinced that it's a "popular opinion", and most people who trash his movies have never even watched one of them. Just insecure people who derive thier opinions off of internet trends, like hating Chris Pratt. 🐑

90% of the people commenting here have never seen the Munsters or any of their tv movies trying to revive the series between the 80s-90s (or NBC's attempt at a remake Mockingbird Lane)...and it shows.

At 22 seconds, and in the first trailer, when he says “That’s an odd way to say hello”, JDP pulls off a really good Herman. What he’s doing in the scene where he and Grandpa are yelling to each other? Eeesh.
