I'm thrilled with the improvements coming to AA. I've flown them since the mid 80's when I got hooked by triple-mile promotions in the early days of Advantage. Having lived through MD-80s, the lean years where first class had no food from MIA to LGA, and flying an empty 767 a week after 9/11 with a still traumatized crew, I know that there were tough decisions, some good some bad, that were required to keep the airline flying. I can say that the New American has me more excited than anything I've seen before from this airline. The 77W is a stunning aircraft, the new 4-across business a miracle of comfort and the interior design fantastic. Wait until you see the wood paneled bathrooms actually stocked with spa products. I think as long as they can give their in-flight staff the treatment, training, and tools to provide the level of service appropriate for these stunning new aircraft, they have a shot at being the first US flag carrier to actually be able to compete with the better Euro carriers and possibly, just possibly, the Asian carriers.

And the ticket price to Haiti with a B737-800 is climbing. AA, you do know that Haiti's market is good for you, so why in the world do you have a small airplane on that route from JFK and why is it very expensive? More expensive than going to PTY for example? But, congratulations on merging with US Airways, CONGRATULATIONS...

airplane size depends on supply and demand. So more people that want to go, the bigger the plane

Matthew Kelly I agree an airline isn’t put a bigger plane on a route unless that can fill the plane and the flight is profitable and that for every airline not just American
