People say alterac valley climbing was much harder. It would be good to see this comp perform there, as it is also an equal comparison to your old climbing comp with brightwing. This comp looks great though

You should use Kazakus, in every climbing comp, just as a bench merc. He has a chance to get the most powerful treasure in the game. "Kill Random Enemy at Start of Game". Not a neutral enemy, ANY enemy. Works on boss fights as well.

Valeera and Scabbs can get that too

@@konstantinosflo Those 2 get "Kill Neutral Enemy", Kazakus gets "Kill Random Enemy". There's a difference. They can't kill a blue, red, or green, enemy. Only grey. Kazakus just straight up kills any enemy, regardless of their color. Works on bosses too. Did a heroic Onyxia run, and it targeted and destroyed Onyxia at the start.

@@theclosk99 They can, but it can drop after the harder fights, the ones you fight 4 mercs. Trust me. I was farming Valeera coins on Nefarian bounty, BlackRock Mountain and got the treasure on Valeera, so easiest bounty ever and earler today got it on Scabbs aswell on another bounty.

@@konstantinosflo is right here. All three can get the 'kill neutral' treasure as a 'tier 3' one, and a 'kill any' as a 'tier 5' one. So, you need the hard fights to get this good treasure. I have gotten 'kill neutral' on Kazakus, too...

I've been playing with this comp as well recently since I don't have Brightwing and really like it. I have also played around with flexing in Voone in place of Yulon against parties that don't attack with the Rune Axe (double hits with Nefarian attack) and it has been surprisingly good as well for climbing.

The problem I faced was that they always focused on Voone. It was painful. If there were two protector as enemies, I tend to loose Voone in the second round, and I can't prevent it since neither Nefarian nor Sinestra heals him.

I was messing around earlier with a dragon comp, you can get some interesting mixes with Death wing, Ony and Kazak/Wrath, not quite sure how to best use them all though

Hey OG, I really like this comp, but in my opinion, you are using the wrong relic for Nefarian. Yes, +attack does help getting your melee dragons (which is 2/3rd of the comp) to get more damage. But damage granting artis are not uncommon. As such, the +damage falls to the wayside, especially since it does not buff the drakonids. On the other hand, using the Spare Part equipment really grew on me. Not only does Nefarian heal for 10 AoE basically every turn, it also triggers on enemy dragon death - and onexyas lair is full of enemy dragons. Together with the Pearl, it makes the comp very resilient. Though this is the reason I didn't upgrade my Drakonid attack. I want them to die after all. Its another reason I try to get artis that buff attack instead of dragon health, since otherwise the Draknoids won't die and won't heal. I kinda wish the higher skill level would only buff the attack, not the health actually ... ^^

Disregarding budget/rarity, which other Mercenaries/gear would you suggest to make it a full 6 dragons team? My first instinct would be Alexstrasza (Alex's Brooch), Onyxia (Broodmother's Rage) and Brightwing (Pixie Pouch), just to even out the colours, but which ones would you recommend?

I've been spending quite a bit of time in the new bounties using dragons and I think the other 3 dragons depend on which bounty you are in. Alexstraza feels consistent but mediocre bc of her treasures. Deathwing feels like an incomplete package with anti-synergies bc his non-dragon summons. Brightwing heals and damages, but isn't excellent at either. Onyxia has good treasures but her combo is slow and hard to pull off and requires other fire units to be worth using. War Master Voone just feels squishy since Sinestra and Nefarian can't heal him. Wrathion feels fine oddly enough. The AI targets him BC of his low health so you can dragon form on turn 2 so Sinestra can setup Twilight Extinction instead of healing. I haven't tried Kazakus much with dragons. He belongs with Vol'jin in a shadow comp. I haven't tried Long'xin either bc farming him up doesn't seem appealing to me.

How can I get those dragons now? Was there any event where you could get them?

Crafting or packs, they're Rares so they come from packs almost instantly. No, there has not been an event for them.

Hey Old Guardian, is this comp still strong as Sinestra don't reduce damage?

Nothing has changed with damage reduction. The comp is somewhat weaker nowadays though because it is harder to get attack bonus treasures for Dragons.

@@OldGuardian Yes you are right, I have compare description with my merc without equipment and I thought it got nerfed. Thank you for reply and your hard work.
