the whole point of creating pinnochio was so that old man didnt have to be lonely anymore and the first thing pinnochio does is immediately try to leave him 💀💀

I frankly can’t believe you didn’t say anything about the part where they decide the horse is going to be his new temporary father while they’re at the circus and Pinocchio calls him “dad” multiple times.

What's insane is the idea of "Pinocchio wakes up and immediately causes chaos" is EXACTLY what happened in the original story. If I remember right, the town of people got so mad they literally hung him (except he's made of wood so it doesn't work??). He also like bullied Geppetto and ran away, not to the circus, but to the town to he a complete asshole to everyone ever

Fun fact: there's another English dub that was produced in Russia that seems to have the same script, but different voice actors. "Skedee skedee skedee" is NOT in this version, meaning that yes, it was probably improved.

I've never seen someone more mortified to be alive. HE GETS UP YELLING, "ALIIIIVEEEEEEEeEEEeeeEEeeee" and then stumbles around, struggling to walk.

I like how the clip of kurtis saying “what do i nose” got progressively shorter and shorter each additional time it was used till it was barely anything more than the twinkle sound effect
