While New York City is going down the drain, the city's police department has formed a dance team to help people "stay mentally and physically well through dance." Not only are they using taxpayer dollars to fund this, they're just bad at dancing. The comments about them on social media are absolutely hilarious.

That's the real story. I'm sympathetic to the NYPD. They've been treated horribly by the city, which has defunded the police and failed to prosecute criminals they arrest.

Lmao, your prisons and jails are full, you have a list oversentenced prisoners and amerikkk has no plan for when felons get out. It’s more than the DA’s problem, it’s the judges from the past, the cops from the past. It’s the fact the New York has one of the highest annual averages in lawsuits against police. Educate yourself, for the sake of humanity. Cops don’t protect and serve, it’s not part of their job it was a silly slogan that most departments stopped using. Ya’ll at stupid sheep

The worst part is the look of immediate gratification on their faces as if they only want to feel good about themselves and have absolutely zero intention or desire to stop any crime going on in their city (or if they are even physically capable). They just want TikTok dopamine hits to the brain. Women in particular have basically no psychological firewalls against social media and internet addiction. They've been getting absolutely obliterated the last decade.

I left New York in 1972 after living there for 12 years. My dad worked for a military aircraft manufacturer. He passed away in 1969. My mom remarried in 1971 and moved back to our home state of Oklahoma. After bouncing around in the Midwest and south, I eventually ended up back in Oklahoma in 1978. Almost all of my high school seniors (1967) Left New York very quickly, either military or just getting the hell out of there. The house my parents bought ( Long Island) in 1967 cost $12,000. My mom sold it in 1972 for $36,000. Now the same house is valued at $350,000, with property tax around $7000 a year. I don’t know how people can live and thrive there.

The taxes that get spent in the schools are not the same taxes spent by the county for law enforcement. They didn't take currency away from the school and give it to the police, they took currency out of the school and put it in the pockets of the administration. This is quite common

What makes me sick is there's female dancing police when America, especially New York is in serious trouble and again with migrants fighting a lot of cops, I think it was a shelter and they were even throwing stuff at the police 🚓. But what makes me really mad 😡 is that not one cop used a tazor and it was serious but if it was a regular American person and it wasn't anything that bad they would have been tazed.
