@@leont66wargaming31 I tried getting into it years ago, but never could. The closest I got was when I bought a really cheap bag of 54mm ish toy figures and painted those up. With a bit of imagination, bits of plastic and miliput, I created a dwarf army. It was just something to do whilst I was recovering from knee surgery (RAF hospital Wroughton). I friend of mine bought them off me lol. Like always, I wish I'd kept them, or at least taken a picture.

I wish I’d kept all my old models as well, oh well never mind lol. I’d be using a lot of Perry minis with these except I can’t use them at tournaments, so have to stick with the GW expensive ones.

@@leont66wargaming31 ironically, i have airfix figures and models from 55 years ago. In fact in my ww1 project many of the Tommies are the original 1960s figures I have had since then, and only just painted them lol. The fort sahara i have again is at least 55 years old. It is finally painted up and I use it for Sudan, and the 1967 war.

I was very tempted with the new epic, probably would have got it but I knew fantasy was coming up soon. Always my favourite game. Very like 6th edition with some good new tweaks. Epic will have to wait now lol.
