I guess you are talking about 2020 to 2022 Model Y. In 2023 and 2024, the comfort of the ride was significantly improved. Isn't it?

This was in fact a 2022 model and like you say I believe this has now been resolved in the newer models (Not been in one myself however)

you are 10000% right newer models like the One i have 2023 they improved the ride significantly

That’s great to hear. Out of interest, did you have one of the older models and then notice a big difference?

@@Carbonwurks yes i still have my mom's 2019 model 3 158k miles , and my dad's model Y 98k miles , the only difference i noticed is the sway bars ( stiffer ) and the rebound ( set to a higher setting ) compression was left the same because i do take from time to time here in Monterrey my car to the track .

I've got a 2024 Model Y LR and the ride is still too firm for my liking - noticeably worse than the stock 2020 Model 3 LR I had before it. It's great on smooth roads and holds well through corners but at it's worst over small or undulating bumps typical of UK roads. I'm honestly glad it's on a lease and going back in 21 months!

Thanks for your comment. That’s quite interesting as I really thought Tesla had nailed this issue on the newer models but appears not. I think we’re just unlucky that the state of roads in the UK is abysmal when compared to other countries and our cars just can’t perform their best!

I have 2022 model Y and it rides like an empty garbage truck over a bumpy road. It's terrible. I wish you had a service here in the US. I would be knocking on your door.

Ha not heard it referenced as that before 😂 I’m sure you might be able to find a reputable mechanic / garage near you that can install the TEIN suspension for you? Hopefully one day we might grace your shores! :)

Thank you. Yeah, the model Y has all the suspension of a steam locomotive. It's good to know that your suspension is available here in the US. @@Carbonwurks
